Unique from what?  Isn't every species unique in its own way?  Flies have amazing vision.  We don't.  Bats have incredible hearing.  We don't.

yeah yeah, but still what happens when the brain is gone? human, alien or wombat, its hard to think if theres nothing to think with and how else can one perceive anything? you know?
