I've never heard of energy cords connecting us to anybody. Please explain.

Hello!
First of all, I would like to introduce myself.  My name is Stacie, I'm a 30-year-old student from the southeast US.  I have a question, and I'm hoping maybe someone can give me some answers.  The energy cords that we form that connect us to, say, a romantic partner..is there a way to utilize the cord to strengthen the bond/connection between the two?  Any ideas/thoughts/etc. would be GREATLY appreciated.
