Astral Communication

Well I finally held a projection long enough to meet someone and talk to them a minute.  They said they met me at this place I went to which I didn't understand.  And started opening "blinds" and letting light in which I didn't understand either.

Anyway my point is how do you guys communicate with spirits in an OBE?  I find that if I try to talk my physical voice talks from my body(unlike lucid dreams).  I tried talking in my head, like thinking things and she understood what I was saying, but it was like I had to jump up and down to grab her attention first.

Hello!  Don't get too wrapped up in how to communicate. It will come to you very easily and in the way it is needed. Telepathy seems to be quite common. However, we being still used to the physical talking with our mouths can still be used. I noticed a few times during OBE that the spirit/person I was talking with seemed to know what I was going to say even before I spoke it. That is telepathy for ya! I do however believe that there is a state of mental privacy in the astral plane. So, I believe that if there is something that we do not want relayed or communicated to some one else, subconsciously we will not telepathize it.   Happy Astraling!

Well I was over 30 feet away from my body.  I also couldn't shake hands with her really because I felt my physical arms.  So again I think your right MajorTom, once I talk that wakes me up too much.  Out of all the OBE's I have had only once have I fallen asleep.  All the rest I have been sucked back in by my body or woken up.

I will have to focus on telepathy more.  Maybe she was just ignoring me for some reason, or maybe I just can't do it too well yet.  I thought it would feel like your talking through your head and it echoes everywhere.  But it feels like it just stays in my head and is weak.  I will have to practice I guess!

That makes sense...Well hopefully any spirit that I meet from now on will either be away from my house or follow me away real quick instead of right down the hall.  Then we shall see how I can communicate.  Thanks!
