Astral Entities

Hello everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone has ever encountered astral entities. I don't mean the typical ones which you read about in most of the books, I mean entities such as our angels, ascended masters, archangels, spirit guides, mystical creatures (unicorns, dragons....),  or any others.

I'm asking as this is one of my main motivations in achieving astral travel, the thought of meeting such entities is amazing, especially a mystical creature.

Hello Stevj016,

I have never astral projected before (i plan to try but I dont want to run before I can walk). Though from mediations I have seen 'beings' some in my mind, some with my physcial eyes on the back of my eyelids (best I can describe it).

I would say that it is best to meet your/a spirit guide BEFORE you go to the astral, gain some experiance and get to know your guide to better prepare yourself. Plus if you meet through meditation, it is a good way to practice for actual projection.

I guess its akin to going out on safari by yourself or finding a guide to keep you safe, who knows the lay of the land and knows the language.

I am very much a see to believe person.. although I do believe they exist...I still need that confirmation that what i see is not just imagination :p tis odd

I've met a few- light beings who helped me get to where I needed to, and twice a specific being who helped me in different ways.  The second being I did not know who it was at the time, after some research I think I've come to know who it is. (and the details are personal).
I am only sharing this because I have been projecting for years before I got to know my guides and protectors.

I frequently encounter my spirit guides. At first, they were just "shapes" around me, but I quickly realized who they were and began to ask to see them and meet them. Now I ask to see them and we meet- I ask them questions and we discuss them. There is only one that I specifically remember and talk to regularly- he told me he was a 16th century painter and my husband in a past life. He visits me and I usually ask him my questions. I see others around me too, and I greet them and "meet" them, but they are all familiar to me in a past life in some way. I'm thankful for these experiences- they teach me a lot about myself and the world. If you want to meet yours, I suggest just asking to see them when you're having an OBE. It may take some time to see them and meet them, but if you keep asking and progressing, you should be able to see them. I've never seen any kind of mystical creature like a unicorn in my astral travels. But I haven't asked to see any either.

It's kinda funny, because I never saw or talked to a guide or anything guide-like, but I also resisted it, due to the fact that I'm not good with trust, and a fear with having "voices in my head". There are too many nutty new-agers that I don't want to become like.

But here recently, I started a dialog with some sort of a helper or something, and it's been quite profound. I see that it's something you really have to be open to first. I've asked for a guide to help before (years ago), but I see now that I wasn't really open to it, I just wanted a quick fix for a problem. I'm still figuring this one out...

I'd be very open to meeting a guide, I understand they are in my mind already but it's a subconscious unlocked memory that I don't know, this is the reason for me wanting to meet mine. Although, my main objective is trying to remember numbers in APing, to better myself in my physical life.

Yup, lottery...and also furthering my education, but mostly lottery I've been told it's hard to remember numbers but, practice makes perfect!

With something like that surely wouldn't the possible future lottery number possibilities be too vast to ever get a pinpoint on any set amount of numbers that are gaurenteed to show?

In terms of your question--I've met a few "beings".

The first has helped me sleep. I have had chronic insomnia since the age of 12. About 6 months ago I started encountering a female presence in my house who has always come over to my bed and put her hands on top of my head before I start my separation. Even with my planned intention of projecting, she often seems to help me fall back asleep instead of projecting more.

I called for my guides once before and I had two other people join me at my side. We started venturing off into the sky but at one point I felt such a strong gut feeling while out of body of my physical heart beating slower that I decided to return.

There have been numerous times I have shouted into the sky (my voice always sounds like its in some weird television or fishbowl)...And i've gotten some responses that came from the sky it seemed. They are a bit too personal to share. There have also been times where I had went outside my house while OOB and shouted for others to come join me. I would then return to my body--project again--and find darker unpleasant beings in a field across the street. They were darker figures with no faces.

I believe it's possible, after all...Isn't that the best clarification you could get? Something which you could -never- know, but your higher self does?
