Can anyone relate to having any sort of pain (mine being chest pain) in the beginning stage of an OOBE? I have had two slightly similar experiences....

(1) First time was stabbing... as if I had been stabbed square in the chest with a knife.

(2) Today... along with heavy vibrations and buzzing, the chest pain reoccurred.

I can relate. Nothing to worry about, it will go away as soon as internal blockages and pathways has been cleansed and redefined. I still feel a strong pulling sensation in my spleen chakra though especially during forced separation. But it's not painful.

Hi, I do agree with upstream. Once when I did one forced separation, because there was a strong pulling sensation in my heart chakra and I couldn't do it easily and slowly so I suddenly forced myself to get out and then I've had a really tense sensation in my heart chakra's location, as if my heart was going to rip off. thats it. I even had this sensation in my head, where it feels so big, so so big like its gonna blow, and there was something but it wasn't pain. I don't know what to call it.

I read in one of William Buhlman's books that if you experience chest pain when trying to go out of body, it is because the vibrational rate of your soul is not high enough for the new dimension that you are trying to enter into.  If you tell your soul, "I raise my vibrational rate now", the pain should go away.  I have experienced chest pain a couple of times.  It felt like bricks were weighing down on my chest or like my lungs were collapsing.  I got scared and stopped trying to astral project.  After reading William Buhlman's book, I told my soul to raise its vibrational rate after experiencing chest pain, and the pain went away immediately.  I have also cured other pain while out of body.  If you simply concentrate on the affected area or even imagine a white healing light flowing to the affected area, the pain usually goes away either while you're still out of body or immediately after your soul re-enters the physical body.  I have found having intentional OBE's while awake to be very therapeutic and great for healing the physical body as well as the soul body.

When I started to first get results, I also had the chest and head pains (like said, it didn't really hurt, just uncomfortable pressure). I've said it several time before in the forums, but it felt like my heart was going to explode in my chest. But they eventually went away. I still get sensations in the same areas every time I meditate, especially my head, but it's not uncomfortable anymore.

I guess you're right stookie. Its more pressure than to call it "pain". its not painful. you feel this pressure in the head, as its expanding, and there's no more room for it anymore.
