You do realize that if there is truth to existance of these tablets then it tends to blow most "creation" theories away with just the age of them.  I recently read over a web page that was saying that because of creation that the world is only 4,500 year old and the MILLIONS of years old that evolution says.  These tablets are 10x older than what a lot of creationist believe the world to be.  
That aside.  I did find some of the stuff on that page you posted to be of intrest and warrenting further study.

hey cainam, you do realize that if you were to use the bible to do a decent job of trying to figure out the age of the earth, by virtue of geneologies and age guestimates, i came out with an answer that is more like 10,000 years, AT LEAST. so that blows the creationists out of the water too    .

and yet, to blow the scientists out of the water too, it has been proven, via carbon dating (the method that was used to determine that the earth is millions of years old), that the tooth of a living pig was 3 million (or something like that) years old.  

reason and belief are useless, CHAOS IS THE (FUN) WAY TO GO!  j/k.

So I have a question for anyone who might know.  From reading this I assume there were several other Atlantian Colonies such as the one in Egypt.  Does any one know where they were saposed to be?

That is actually one of the reasons they are moving away from carbon dating and using a much more reliable system.  However, carbon dating is agreably foulable.  But depending of who does the testing and what it is compaired against it can be a reliable system.

ah not really.

But my point was that these tablets are sapposed to be some 36,000 years old or more.   But I have been checking on a lot of information lately and have found several websites saying that evolution is impossible because of the sapposed age of the earth.  And they were saying it was only 4,500 years old.  And to support this they were stating that if the "average population growth" is applied starting from 4,500 years ago with just 2 people then it works out to be about what we have today, but if you start back when man was evolving there would not be enough space to hold everyone.  The only problem I see is that you can not appply current population growth to a population that is thousands of years old.  Couple main reasons being that, 1) they died considerable younger, and often quicker. IE, desease, war, things like that killed many more people than it does now. 2) We have removed the "survival of the fittest" from recent times because of the medical field, so many that would have died in thier infantcy now live long lives. 3) people do not procreate as quickly in small groups, just look at the tribs that are living in south america and africa.  some tribes are even dying out because they can not procreate quick enough.

I dunno it seems that a lot of facts and fiction can get mixed in together from BOTH sides depending on who is doing what.  You can always spin the tale to your advantage.

You mean there are actually people who think the world is only 4,500 years old?  I thought even conventional Religion had dated it to at least 4,000 B.C.
For the record, I believe both Religion and conventional "science" miss the mark.  As Einstein said: "Science without religion is empty. Religion without science is blind."  Or something like that anyway.

I know sounds silly doesn't it.

But it shows how people can become so obsessed with an idea that they become blinded by it.  They grasp at even the most vague of concepts so that they can feel better.  So that they do not have to analize thier own beliefs.  It is far to easy to change the truth to suit your needs rather than look at what it is you feel you "need".  

And so by "thier" calculations the egyptians would never have existed.  Or rather would not have had the time to do all that they did do.  Even some of the events in the bible would not have been able to take place.

I would just like to add that there seems to be some dispute, confusion at least, regarding Thoth.

The Thoth that I am aware of is actually Hermes Trismegistus, who, due to his profound impact on humanity and the world was deified and became the God Thoth. Deification is much like being made a saint these days. This all took place in ancient Egypt about 3000 BCE.

Note: BCE means Before Common Era not "before christ".

Where Atlantis came into the equation I don't know. Having said that, Hermes was probably the greatest Master ever to have set foot on the planet, that we know of, with the possible inclusion of the true Jeshua (Jesus). It might well be he lived in Atlantis at some time in his life, after all, even the greatest Ascended Masters would have served their time on Earth (or another planet)as we all have to, and clearly, someone as advanced as Hermes has been evolving for a very long time.

List ye, O man, to the voice of wisdom,
list to the voice of THOTH, the Atlantean.

Freely I give to thee of my wisdom,
gathered from the time and space of this cycle;
master of mysteries, SUN of the morning,
living forever, a child of the LIGHT,
shining with brightness, star of the morning,

THOTH the teacher of men, is of ALL.
Long time ago, I in my childhood,

Forth then, my soul sped, throughout the Cosmos,
seeing ever, new things and old;
learning that man is truly space-born,
a Sun of the Sun,
a child of the stars.

Know ye, O man, whatever from ye inhabit,
surely it is one with the stars.

Thy bodies are nothing but planets revolving
around their central suns.

When ye have gained the light of all wisdom,
free shall ye be to shine in the ether --
one of the Suns that light outer darkness --
one of the space-born grown into Light.

Just as the stars in time lose their brilliance,
light passing from them in to the great source,
so, O man, the soul passes onward,
leaving behind the darkness of night.

filled with the brilliance that
flows from the source,
bound by the ether coalesced around,

Lift up your flame from out of the darkness,

Traveled I through the space-time,
knowing my soul at last was set free,
knowing that now might I pursue wisdom.
Until at last, I passed to a plane,
hidden from knowledge,

extension beyond all that we know.

Now, O man, when I had this knowing,

but child of the Infinite Cosmic Light.

Order and balance are the Law of the Cosmos.

extending his consciousness out of the darkness,
flowing through time and space in the ALL.

Deep in the silence,

are free from desire,

Conquer by silence, the bondage of words.
Abstaining from eating until we have conquered
desire for food, that is bondage of soul.

Then lie ye down in the darkness.
Close ye your eyes from the rays of the Light.
Centre thy soul-force in the place of thine consciousness,
shaking it free from the bonds of the night.

Place in thy mind-place the image thou desireth.
Picture the place thou desireth to see.
Vibrate back and forth with thy power.
Loosen the soul from out of its night.
Fiercely must thou shake with all of thy power
until at last thy soul shall be free.

Mighty beyond words is the flame of the Cosmic,
hanging in planes, unknown to man;
mighty and balanced, moving in Order,
music of harmonies, far beyond man.

Speaking with music, singing with colour,
flame from the beginning of Eternity's ALL.
Spark of the flame art thou, O my children,
burning with colour and living with music.
List to the voice and thou shalt be free.

Consciousness free is fused with the Cosmic,
One with the Order and Low of the ALL.
Knew ye not man, that out of the darkness,
Light shall flame forth, a symbol of ALL.

Pray ye this prayer for attaining or wisdom.
Pray for the coming of Light to the ALL.

Mighty SPIRIT of LIGHT that shines through the
Cosmos, draw my flame closer in harmony to thee.
Lift up my fire from out of the darkness,
magnet of fire that is One with the ALL.

Child of the Light, turn not away.
Draw me in power to melt in thy furnace;
One with all things and all things
in One, fire of the life-strain and
One with the Brain.

When ye have freed thy soul from its bondage,
know that for ye the darkness is gone.
