Hey guys, nice to meet you all.
-A Little Backround-
I'd heard of AP before, never even thought of trying. Heard of Lucid Dreaming too, and was interested in it, but I never tried it.

So last night I came across this forum and read all the tips and techniques and heres what happened.

Around 2 A.M. I was overly tired and decided to go to sleep and try it, because the relaxing wouldnt take too long, being that ive been up for 15 hours. I focused on not feeling, anything i guess. Then I didnt see the engery flowing behind my eyes, so I guess this was the start of my 3rd eye. Right away my forehead vibrated. alot. and then almost instantaneously my entire body was violently vibrating.

I calmed down and kept it for a sec, and i felt my feet and arms start to rise, but then i kind of got excited and what do you know, I lost it, and then decided that i was too tired to keep going and went to sleep. woke up again and tried it, got vibrations a tiny bit, but fell asleep. after that I had a lucid dream. Not too exciting but nonetheless kind of cool.

My questions are, is this more of a placebo effect because it was my first time trying it and i guess i got far enough to feel seperations.

Is it normal to have HUGE vibrations?

And is the lucid dream connected to the almost AP?

I don't think it's a placebo effect, you might just be a natural. Or maybe, since you are talking about your third eye and energy, you are familiar with meditation, which also makes it easier. If it felt real to you then it most likely was, keep trying :-D

As for the lucid dream, it probably was connected. It was your first time and you got great results, it was probably an exciting experience, so it was all you thought about while going to sleep. This, in turn, might have triggered your lucid dream.

Good luck with your next attempts!

Yes it is normal....my first attempt i had full body vibrations as well, and it was painful-to the point of where it felt as if my eardrums were going to burst.  It sounds as if you made excellent progress for your first time, now the key is to get into that state of mind i like to call 'the zone' every time. Next time you get the full body vibrations, simply try rolling out or sitting up and you just might be surprised with what happens.
