Hey people :)

I am new to this forum , my name is Kurt Ellis and i am 18 ,currently living in Leeds / england .
I would just like to ask a few questions based on what i experienced , and any help would be much appreciated .
First of all so far i haven't achieved obe.
Last night i tried projection , i had many weird but yet beautiful feelings. My whole body felt like i couldn't move it , even my eyes where asleep , then all of a sudden i felt these intense vibrations well i don't know if i would even call them vibrations , it was more if my whole body was shaking , it was very intense.
Then i started to see almost like a circular portal of colors in front of me , i felt like i was being sucked into it.
But then i suddenly woke up , could somone tell me if i am close to a obe , or if im not even close , i tryed moving my astral fingers and body but i couldn't.
Any advise on what to do when these vibrations start?
Thanks for your time guys .
love and peece :-)

you're really close.

don't try to move your astral appendages.  if you are able to move your astral body it should happen very easily, just like moving the physical counterpart.  if you have to struggle, don't try to do it.  you may inadvertently wake yourself up and move your physical body which would ruin your trance.

you just need to keep going deeper, let go more.  don't be worried about falling asleep, it will happen.  it's a very tricky state of mind that you want to achieve, a state that exists on the borderland between worlds.  you have to be willing to go all the way down (to sleep) and catch yourself just before you lose consciousness.  this is necessary as a short cut (which AP/OBE training in the modern era is) to bypass a disciplined meditative practice.  obe, the way it is taught today, is basically a loop-hole.  you are tricking your mind and body into believing you're asleep.  this way you can go free about your explorations.  the more traditional way is through imagination type journeys that once practices daily and eventually is able to completely shut out physical stimuli.  people call this technique phasing nowadays.
be awesome.

don't limit yourself to just night time practice.  for some that is the worst time to practice.  your muscle tension is at it's highest throughout the day when you're going to sleep at night which can make it difficult to relax, and your serotonin levels are at their lowest which could make it difficult to focus.

for me, the most successful time to practice is in the afternoon when i'm ready for a nap, around 2-4pm.
be awesome.
