Research on people that OBE and then have a NDE

I started to think about people who have mastered astral projection and then have a near death experience. Has their been any studies, research done on this? We hear all about the NDE's and a few people who utilize the obe afterwards.

Please advise!

Hey tvos,

I haven't come across any study which looked at projectors who later experienced NDEs - although I think the results of such a study might be interesting. I'm guessing possible sample groups might be quite small though! .

I spoke with one person who had a NDE and now projects on a monthly basis's. He did note similarities but also differences as well. A lot of what the person stated was level of consciousness and especially the feeling of love, peace and joy.

I'd like to know people who project, than had a NDE how they are able to dicipher differences between the two.

Still never a less, NDE to OBE, or OBE to NDE is a interesting study.

Well... I had NDE and before and after that few OBE's. I can only tell you that i cant cemeber anything from NDE. I just woke up in hospital, and thats all i can tell you

I wonder why some people are able to remember the NDE and some are not. How long did this occur, the NDE that is?

Also, I read many nde's and most of their awareness returns from the nde days/weeks and months later.

Could you please elaborate on the not walking up part? where you clinicaly dead in that 2 day period?

Just some interesting stuff about NDE.

My personal opinion is that NDE is slightly different to OBE - mainly because there is ZERO consciousness in the physical body and therefore all of our consciousness is focussed in the astral.  I think NDE has greater clarity, fewer reality fluctuations, greater self-awareness etc for this reason.  It's the real deal, untainted by distortions caused by a link to a healthy physical body...
