Well this happened many years ago, and completely by accident.  I have had interest in OBE's and other thigns in the genre for a while.  About 5-6  years ago i was at a summer camp walking with some friends and i wanted to show them that i could make myself pass out, dont know why but i did.  I did this by forcing all the blood to my head, we were walking and I started to do i, there was a person on either side of me.  Then all of a sudden, like someone had flipped the lights of then on, i blacked out and woke up, only when i came to i was still walking along, but now i had a THIRD PERSON view of myself.  I watched as i continued to walk along, not talking but still mobile, and no one around seemed to notice what was going on.  My first thought was how do i get back in.  Then i realized if my physical body was still walking i must still have at least minor control over it, so i just "woke up" and i was back to normal.  I tried this again a year or so later hoping for the same results, and it worked, only this time my physical body just fell over!!, I quickly snapped back and havent tried it again since.  Believe me or not i know that this happened and i KNOW it was real and thats all that maters, just thought id share my story.

Don't worry, you don't need to prove anything to most of us on these forums..It's good to know that you base your beliefs on your experiences, and not on something someone said or something you read in a smart book. Your experience is just a wonderful proof that we are more than our physical bodies  :peace:

Almost sounds like you were on the brink of death and experienced a NDE or near death experience. However, cutting off blood circulation to the brain is not a good idea.

Thats what i figured so thats why i havent done it again since then.  I would definitely enjoy working on more "traditional" means of having an OBE.
