Do you have a credit card?  You can by ANYTHING with a credit card, including happiness and even books about OBE.

Check out half.com, amazon.com, etc.  Usually all you have to do is enter yourr credit card number.  I love half.com, I buy paperbacks all the time on half for just a few dollars each, although you are not going to find A.P. that cheap.

Actually, click on this link:

I found it for less than $10 (not incuding shipping)

Dear T_Kman0610,

On the borders site is a way that you can have a particular store special order the book for you personally, you do have to go to the store once they get it in though.  It does not require a credit card and the book costs just as much as if the store stocked it themself.  I did this when I got my copy of Astral Dynamics because my local store did not have it in stock, nor was it a book that they ordered regularly.  Here is the link to the Border's store locator.

http://www.bordersstores.com/index.jsp

1. Once there enter your city, state, zip, and distance.  Hit enter.
2. Find the store that you shop at and check the box and click "Add".
3. Then when the next page load click "Search Inventory" it will be near the top of the screen.
4. At the next page enter the title of the book in the "for" box, make sure that the "in" box reads books, and finally that the "by" box reads title.  The next page should tell you whether the status of the book, where you need to request a special order or if it is a book that they stock on there own.  It will show a little box off to the right side of the screen that shows the store name and the status of the book, if you scroll down on the page you can see what the different status possibilities are.

I would also highly recommend Astral Dynamics, I realize that this site is owned by the author but I am not recommending it for any reason other than the fact that it is good.

INSPES

While I tend to agree that Astral Dynamics is the most valuable book for becoming an astral projector, I would not recommend to read it as the very first OBE book. In my opinion it is a bit too advanced for this (Mind Split, etc). The best book for beginners I think is "Out of body experiences" by Robert Peterson - it is not too complex, gives a neat overview about most actions and feelings related to the phenomenon and also contains some nice exercises to start with (even if they are not a complete training program like Robert Bruce has put together in his book). Also quite good are "Adventures beyond the body" by William Buhlman, "Journeys out of the body" by Robert Monroe (I think nobody interested in OBEs should miss Monroe) and, a bit aged and dry-written, but still good, "The projection of the astral body" by Sylvan Muldoon and Hereward Carrington. You should read them all [8D] But for beginning, I think first Peterson's book for starting and then Astral Dynamics for serious training should do.

i agree with INSPES...the first two books I read are listed - "Adventures Beyond the Body" by William Buhlman and "Out of body experiences" by Robert Peterson.  In fact, you can read the book by Robert Peterson online without paying anything if you want (of course buying the book gives it a different feel)

don't make the mistake of buying this book six months later and realizing you've already read it and freaking yourself out because you don't know where you read it (it's like, unexplainable deja vu until you figure out you read it online) - it happened to me :)
