I think I had an OBE?

Sounds like you were very close to separating.  In the 3 OBEs that I've had I heard the rumbling sound right before I separated, there have been a countless amount of times that I screwed it up when that happened because of fear and panicking.

I'm just wondering, how do I get out? Do I like "Think that I turn around or get up?" I did so yesterday but I think I got scared because of the vibrations and this rocket effect.

Very facinating indeed. This was my first time trying to Astral Project.

:-) I've been trying to lucid dream for a while but no success yet I think :P Or 1 time ;)


I just need an answer to this: I read people flying trough their house when astral projecting (oobe), is it in 3d? Do you have control? Is it similar to a dream without control? How is the graphical system? Is it like when I'm typing now with color or how is it?
I'm very curious..

Some people advise not to force anything.  Others advise the opposite...
Your choice.

First, there is no hurry.  Take your time, enjoy the transe state, the relaxation.  Get used to it.  The more you will feel comfortable, the less you will get scared.

If you want to push it, try the rope technic, or "feel" yourself as floating in another body above your physical body.  Or try to move your arms without moving your physical arms (tricky [;)]).  Try anything you want.  Have fun!

Ok, I will try again tonight, Just wondering , What are the chances of getting an Astral Projection at day time? I guess bed time is the best time, with thought of relaxation and there is less light and so on?

Wierd, I tried it again... I was really impationt this time, and I felt the eye twitching and the vibrations. I physically tried to sit up this time and I did and I started to really shake...

my hands sweated alot more... I opened my eyes and I knew that I wasn't astral Projecting.


Argh what did I do wrong? Do I need to wait more?

The goal is to let the physical body "fall asleep"; to forget about it...  Why did you try to do physical things???

Again, let your physical body fall asleep.  Forget about it.  Don't use any muscles.  Use your mind/will/intent.  Empty your mind and just intend whatever you want to...  Maybe you could try not to do anything next time...  Just stay in trance and wait...  Even if you have to stay 4 hours in trance, just wait and observe!

To help, maybe you can try this little exercise: lie down or sit and visualize yourself getting up from wherever you are and going for an imaginary walk in your house, then in your neighborhood. Visualize the scene as you would see it with your eyes. Use all your senses; touch things, listen to noises, etc... Try it and see how far you can go until your mind is brought back to where you really are. When it happens, you have to start over.

I was laying in my bed yesterday, for like 5 mins ago I was reading from your forums. I was now more sure to get it to work than any time before.

I turned off all lights in my room, making it dark and nice :).
I put in some ear plugs so I couldn't hear my dad talking on the phone. :(

I kept my position on my back and with my arms laying on top of my chest.
Keeping my eyes closed.
After a while I got very relaxed and wanted to scratch myself on my chin but I didn't want to, my arms were very heavy.
Since I had ear plugs in I could hear myself breathing alot better, after a while breathing trough my mouth I heard this rumbling sound. Like a plane or something?
Really wierd, I kinda had some muscle twiches, small ones and I felt this rise. I couldn't seem to let go,  
The first time I heard the rumbling I was like "excrement it's working" , but I was a bit afraid as well.

I had this rumbling effect twice. After that I fell asleep.

Please help me find out what I'm doing wrong or if I just need more practice, or if that was an almost AP or OBE?
