I was wondering if anyone has problems with reintegration in this particular case of astral projection. As I seem to have to recollection of what my physical body is actually doing at the time I'm split from it. Kinda weird because I was running and I closed my eyes and I was somewhere else. Then I even walked around a bit and then had the urge to close my eyes and I was back standing there where I was at before, almost a little light feeling in my body and more clam not as tense as I was before it happened... Could anyone explain why there seemed to be no memory integration on both copies of the mind?

Hello catsyniki

I remember myself having a bi-location experience at school when I was in 2º or 3º grade. I   was walking to the quad and spontaneously I found myself watching my physical body walking to the quad, there was 2 of me, that was a shocking experience and since then I  never had experienced something similar. I remember shifting my consciousness from the physical to the oobe double and vice versa too. Well at that age I used to experience spontaneous oobes very often but never bi-locations.

Hummm , I used to be very meditative and introspective-like at that age, in a way I could say that my awareness was always fluctuating around me and never in my head or in my brow.
Tell me about your conscious awareness at the time when you experience bi-location.

hey that sounds like the mind split thingy that mr bruce talks about in his book astral dynamics, if you have the book look in there. thats all i can think of it being.

A little while ago I "dreamed" that I bi-located to an island off the coast of Chile. It was so real, and a very beautiful island.I even talked to people that lived on the island.I told them I was astral projecting, and they said "they weren't afraid of that stuff".

weird :?

I came to awareness in a hut of sorts,w/a primitive wooden porch.I walked out onto the porch.I could see the ocean in the distance, and some other huts in an open area near the shore. There was a dark-skinned man standing near the porch.I started talking to him,and that's when I told him I was projecting, and he said he wasn't afraid of that. Then another island resident came up to the guy who was talking to me.They had a brief conversation, and he introduced me to the other guy ( I forget the names!).They seemed to be testing my level of awareness by asking me questions based on their short conversation. The first guy I met asked me "Do you know where you are?".I thought for a moment, and recalled that when they were talking together, they mentioned they were on an island off the coast of Chile.I told them that the island was beautiful, and I think it's near Chile. They said "very good!".I asked them if it was actually an astral realm-if it was actually the physical place. They said (smiling) it wasn't an astral realm, and that it was an actual island near Chile.

it was a really strange experience...

...I'm not sure what to make of it,other than to try and return.Maybe I should place the intention, and see what I can do. :?    :?:

yes, 'mind split effect' is very common in real time obe's to the physical world (rtz) as discussed by Robert Bruce.

Basically, while most of your 'focus' or awareness is now centred on the secondary energy vehicle.. the so called astral body, which really only exists for the duration of the experience.. part of your focus is still centred upon your physical self. I think that RB is probably correct in thinking that this is for issues of security, ie if anything comes too close to your physical body as to pose a danger... then your focus is 100% focused back to your physical self right away.

However because your focus is actually centred on two areas for this duration, there is a possibility of both focus points becoming aware of each other.. leading to a feedback effect which is uncomfortable to say the least. however, this effect is easy to avoid if you dont hang around right next to your physical body for any length of time or examine it for too long.. RB has found that physical and astral sight seems to be key here in triggering the effect so, basically if you avoid staring at your physical body for any great length of time, then you will be fine.

Hope this helps,

Doug
