What do you plan on doing once you are out of body?

I know many will answer that they simply go with the flow and try to experience whatever the Universe presents to them. However, you still have free choice and you can move up and down, left and right and so on. So what I am asking is - what do you plan on doing once you are out of body, how do you accomplish it and what have you not accomplished that you wish to accomplish in the future? From my research I have come to the conclusion that reaching the astral planes (objective reality with real beings) is very very difficult. Now someone will say that if I define it as very very difficult - it will be, but come on - it is not easy, just look at how few people report doing so. So I have this dilemma - if I try to get to the astral world improvising different methods or trying some suggestions from others - I may end up wasting many OBEs just on trying something that might not work after all. Such attempts will not fall in the "go with the flow" category. Moreover, I don't go out of body every other morning so when I do go out of body I kind of want to hang around and have fun. The downside is that I feel that "going with the flow" isn't accomplishing that much spiritually cause flying around and stuff like that is just that - fun. In order to grow spiritually, one has to reach the astral planes OR some astral being (or your higher self) should reach you or maybe send you some concrete messages for you to figure out. If I go with the flow, am I ever going to reach the astral planes/talk to real astral beings by accident? The perfect thing would be to go with the flow and make the astral beings and/or my higher self regularly reach me and teach me things. That would be easy and fun. I see people saying that they exit their bodies and boom - their guide is next to them waiting to teach them lessons... That's what I want! Any suggestions on how to do it? I mean - if Moses can't go to the mountain, the mountain should come to him... I hope this all makes sense...

I have been trying for over 20 years and not got there yet .  I thought I would look up a passed on girl friend , Robert Monroe , or see if the bottom half of the moon lander were there from the Apollo missions .   Area 51 in Nevada USA , if I can get past the astral guards .  If I could find Marlin Monroe , I would ask her what happened , or ask   J.F.K. if he knew who shot him , and why . You are in the 'astral world' as soon as you become 'non-physical'... albeit with varied degrees of focus and subconscious cloudiness.

You should try calling for a guide... it worked for my other half... I on the other hand didn't realise I was already interacting with my guide on countless occasions. It wasn't until I accepted that guides exist that realisation dawned on me... and of course until I took the time to ask and accept.

If I was to list what I do or want to do it would just confuse you and maybe intimidate you because you are a beginner and would be irrelevant to you.

First you need to lose the 'I don't want to be wasting my time' and 'where is the action?' attitude... unfortunately and fortunately this isn't a 'hand out' type of thing. You actually have to put a lot of hard work into it and basically 'live' it or you will get yourself wishing on rainbows.

First of all if you want to actively 'look' you first need to know what you are looking for. What questions do YOU want answered? Why do you WANT to meet your guide?

Dude, I haven't really noticed the 360 degree view. I don't really pay attention to these things. I haven't even looked at my physical body cause I don't want to be sucked back in. I haven't seen the notorious silver cord and I have not looked at my astral body other than my hands, my feet and my boxers once. Even if you can see in 360, you are always focused at one point. I don't know. If I look at my astral hands and concentrate on them, I see only them. I just go around trying to do the things I want to do rather than looking at the details or paying attention at not so important things.

Not many. If I have to count all the partial exits and all the meaningless short OBEs and the valuable ones - probably around 25-30. However, the solid OBEs are 5-6-7. The good thing is they are getting more and more and I am getting the hang of morning exits and I learn a lot of things every time I go out of body now, even the partial exits. I think I can have several OBEs every month now. I just want to experience something different than Real Time Zone and Dreamland. I want to talk to some wise spirits, ask them about 2012, Kundalini, soul progress, meditations, DNA. Man, I am just sick of this grey BS structure that humans have developed. We have the resources and knowledge to live so much better and experience so much more. I want it all lol. My soul is not made for mundane life and 9-5 job and so on. Soon big changes will happen and I want some guidance. My research has lead me to the conclusion that in 2013 life will not be the same. I will either die, which I am looking forward to, or have some DNA upgrade (big or small) or I will have a pretty dirty life after the big changes or maybe a mixture of the last two. I mostly project just for the fun of it.  Astral projection is not a requirement to growing spiritually.  At this stage in my spritual development there is nothing in the astral that anyone there can teach me that I can't already learn here in the physical.  If anything it is the other way around.  It is my "higher self" that is learning from me, which is why I'm here.

I have always wanted to fly up into the sky and just keep going right up there amid the stars. Maybe it's just a kind of romanticized idea, but a friend of mine told me that she flew up to the stars and... it just sounds amazing.

But if I end up out of body and into my apartment... I can't really go far, though I have had a few exceptions.

To achieve my goal I mentally prepare myself to go to the door or the window to leave (or just straight up), but I find that my goals really don't matter to me anymore once I'm there. It's like I forget and decide to do other things. I understand that's probably a way of telling myself that there's other things more meaningful to myself, so I'm not troubled by it. It's the same thing with lucid dreams. I can be fully lucid, but what I want to do is so much different from what I would want to do while awake. Upon waking I would think "Why would I want to do that?" But it would make sense while in the dream. Funny how that works, huh?

I used to really want to visit a friend, but that was more for the selfish desire to validate the experience. As I learn more and continue to grow spiritually, it matters less and less. It's a good feeling to be comfortable like that. Really freeing.

I'd still like to fly among the stars, though.

Well this thread is a good idea to form concrete intentions. Personally, I do not want sex in the astral or even in dreams! It annoys me a lot because sometimes the girl doesn't want to have sex with me and I feel I am a nocturne raper!  :lol:The orgasm is always powerful though but then I wake up cheesy! I met a teacher a few months ago in a lucid dream. I asked him how I could stay longer in this state. He told me to avoid doing anything stupid... guess what just a moment later I found a gorgeous woman, had sex with her and woke up cheesy!  I think astral sex is very real but it is very different from real sex... it's more like a powerful arousal upon when you touch the other. Well that's my experience. I had another sex dream during which I just could not come because I had took pain medication in the evening... which make it very hard to have an orgasm. That allowed me stay in the lucid dream and I found myself exploring a forest and I found a strange mechanism I started to unlock. At this point, I heard two voices discussing. "Oh he made it far!", "But it's time for him to go back"... I asked a delay but was took out of the state. I want to go deeper and that's why I want to avoid sex.

Personally, I want to meet my guide! I want to ask him what is the reason of my present incarnation. I feel like I already have the answer, but I just need confirmations. Then I want him to teach me or show me whatever he wants to. Once in my life, I have seen a being of light in my dreams... I was so scared I ran away from it! Now I feel ready for it, it can take it's body of light form and come to me anytime! I also want to visit the Akashic Records for personal insight and visit other planets and lifeforms. I have met a typical gray big head big round eyes little alien... but he was black with even darker eyes... that was scary though, very scary! My main goal is: healing. I have been a drug addicts for 8 years and I never want to go back to that hellish lifestyle!

Looking at the bigger picture, I just want to explore Monroe's Focus 27, maybe do a few retrievals; and from there make my way to what Frank Kepple calls FoC 4. That's where we can find our "hidden treasure" so to speak... the holy grail of this so called projection experience... what I think is truly the only way for real, fast-tracked spiritual progression.

I think 2013 will be more or less the same to be honest. Spiritual evolution comes about through knowledge, hard work, perseverance, dedication, love, rightful action, a balanced lifestyle, etc; not through aliens, DNA, and other random events that would affect the mass populace against their free will. I am not trying to bombard you with my sort of dogma but I have some opinions on your outlook. It's incredible that you are striving for something more spiritually, but there is much to be learned in our "mundane" life. If there wasn't your soul probably wouldn't be here in the first place. It's all perception. I find that the my waking experiences are just as amazing as any non physical ones, but maybe that's just me. I think the key is to balance the two: physical and nonphysical, because you can't really have one without the other if your living on earth.

To answer the topic: Besides the whole evolving spiritually with AP and discovering more about why I respond to the world and relationships the way I do, I do look forward to playing around a bit. This might seem nerdy but I read this book called "Mandy" when I was younger where this young girl escaped into the woods to this abandoned cottage that she made her own. I love the idea of creating a sacred cozy space to go: a home away from home that I can mold to my liking. I would also love to travel in real time to see different countries and famous landmarks. I've had OBE's before but I didn't get far before the memory faded away. I would like to get good at flying, for when I've done it before I either was unable or was scared senseless when I started floating up.
