Title: Binural beats putting me to sleep?
Post by: Symbol on June 13, 2012, 04:49:53
How do I stop this? Everytime I try them I fall asleep..
I want to try to practice Astral projecting at least 3-5 times a day until I start getting successful results, but I keep falling asleep...

Are you in bed while you are doing this? If yes, than move to another room. I sit back in my lazy boy recliner when I Phase. We train ourselves all our lives that the bed is for sleeping. If you are already in another room practicing, then you just need to use your willpower to stay awake. How badly do you want to project?

Another way to beat falling asleep while trying to project is to start doing some kind of creative visualization. Like try shooting hoops or rowing a boat. Something that keeps your focus occupied while your BODY falls asleep. I like to just close my eyes and go through the mental actions of doing some kind of activity. You will be surprised at how good this works and that you find after awhile of doing this that you have actually projected or Phased into the act that you are currently doing. Rowing could lead into a peaceful river scene, as you are rowing through a mountainous river cavern or something like shooting hoops turns into a full court scene where you are playing with other people. The skies the limit! Let your creativity flow!  :-)
Good Luck and Safe Travels!  :-)

Hi,
Keep the frequency of your binaurals above 8 HZ.
If you still fall asleep then rest well for a few days trying nothing so you can recharge.
Its worth trying.

Have you started with first taking a nap?

I do that almost every day now, but on most occasions I get lazy to do that.
I do the wrong thing and try before I go to bed.
Then when I wake up I try it and end up falling back asleep >_<
