that is indeed weird, can I assume you saw these things physically? I mean this was not an out-of-body sight was it?

I am not any sort of expert on this, but possibly you were seeing some kind of elemental...I have never seen these, but since you were on the beach maybe you were seeing spirits associated with water. Of course, you have to ask yourself whether they were insects or not I suppose.

are you sure they weren't actual bugs? i know that sand flies, when grouped together and seen in bad lighting, can look really out-of-this-world.  

if there was any sound to go with the sight, this might help discern what it was.

otherwise, i know little about other-worldly beings, and have not heard anything about these kinds of things.

These things were not small 1/2 inch (with no detail, on a full moon night) and the way they moved off as soon as I looked at them make me think they/it was reacting!

The idea on OoBE sight might just be right there . . . .

Sorry, I'm not expert on this type of thing (though I have had some strange occurances with aparitions and energyfield sightings).

My definition of an "energyfield" - Like an aparition (in fact, it would be), except seen at the corner of the eye. They tend to be hovering in the distance, or they dash across your vision like shadows. They can be either black or white. They are irregular in shape, but are nontheless humanoid. Often, I have sighted them as blobs or a mishapen blob that somewhat resembled a figure (no properties). My best bet is that it's just etheric energy I've seen, manifested into some kind of random presence.

Perhaps you saw some sort of an energyfield too.

Hi I was in tenerife with a 2 friends. We where sleeping out on a beach when at 1 am I woke to see these black swirling things about 10 feet above my friend. Their must have been 100 of them just like bits of black paper( half a inch acros)s. When I looked at them they gathered together and moved off in the other direction. I was sure they reacted to me seeing them! Any simliar experances: advice?
