This is not from me getting over exiceted.

Can someone tell me whats wrong and how can it be fixed?

Some things that helped me:

*Don't take lucidity too seriously, keep it at the back of your mind in case you need it and continue with the dreaming.

*Be discrete about it.

*Don't try to change the dream situation, adapt yourself to them.

*Do things your way, but remember - for the dream to go on you must keep on being active and responsive.

*Stabilize: read something, clap your hands and dance.

*Set a goal: if you're undecided then say goodbye to your dream. Find something to do and put your heart into it.

Good advice

But taken to much active part blows it all the more as well a passive one.

Well try to accept the lucidity as a new reality so to say. Have the realisation that its a dream but don't think of it afterwards activly anymore and just do things you want to do.
If you think of waking up, having a dream, the real world too much you will wake up.

Oh and this black void..... if you don't wake up during it and just let it "be" you might have an AP I think.

I was in a black void just before my AP after I flew out of the dream and when I opened my astral eyes and I could see my room... do you feel any tightness around your eyes when your in the void?

The thing that works best for me is to simply pay closer attention to my surroundings.  If someone is talking, listen to them closely, if you see a beautiful blue sky, look at it and admire it, if you are next to a tree, touch the tree and feel the texture of the bark, or just look at the back of your hand and study it closely, look at the veins and pores.  In other words, absorb yourself in everything around you, avoid having any thoughts other than the task at hand (looking at things) and you should be fine.

Have you tried using your imagination, or phasing, while in the void?

Token is correct.  You need to concentrate on your environment and this brings it to life.  I find that paying attention to all details makes things clearer and more vivid.  You need to kind of concentrate on what is happening in front of you rather than introverting.  Also it's a good idea to keep moving - keep the scenery changing.

If the dream fades and you find yourself back in bed, chances are you will probably be able to get back "out" again.  Don't move a physical finger, but do try to get out of bed.  Also don't rationalise or try to "think" at this point.  This is most important!  Any actual waking type thought will snap you out of the trance.

So when the dream fades don't think and don't move.  I use a variety of "exit" techniques including rolling out of bed, floating up, and "beaming" across the room.  I do whatever feels right at the time, but "beaming" is probably my favorite.  This consists of simply "thinking" yourself across the room.  When I get this right I can actually feel myself move across the room.  Quite often I can see the room moving as I float across it.

However, once I am standing in my bedroom, I can then activate my vision and I can begin to "think" again.  For some reason once I am "out" I can allow myself to rationalise and think normally, but whilst lying in bed, doing this snaps me out of the trance very quickly.  Once "out" i can then get on with a new adventure.  If this fades and I end up in bed again I simply repeat the process.  I can do this over and over again, until I snap out of it.  I suspect you will find the same thing is true.

From your description, it sounds like you saw your room while in the void. Is that what you are describing? If so, then you were not in the void. The void is simply that -- a void. It feels like you are in the center of a boundless, black area completely devoid of sight and sound. The only thing there that you perceive -- is you as a consciousness. I don't even notice a body at the time. I had never read or heard about it before I first experienced, although I had been phasing (didn't know that was the name at the time) for about a year. But when I 'stumbled' in to it -- I freaked out a bit. I was completely unable to make any sound at all -- even a thought. And I could see clearly except that there was nothing to see. Of course, as my anxiety rose I quickly found myself awake back in bed.
Reality is what you perceive it to be.
