Ap Friends,

Ever since (1987) when I started to project, I've been able to see luminous glow around my hand, body, people, objects etc.. It seems favorable in a setting where I'm in my car and its night under parking lights or florescent.

I'm able to see a mist-outline of my hand slowly drift back into my physical hand. At times, when I'm in a interview or at church I will stare at the person and the energy will just pop out from them.

Its as if I'm looking at the individual or object, but past them. Kinda of like the histograms where the image is embedded in the background.

Has anyone noticed this when they started projecting and how do I develop this further to see the actual colors of the aura?

From what I read, you see the aura with your third eye. When you look at something in an unfocused way, you become pretty much able to combine what you see with the third eye and your physical eyes.

The thing to keep in mind is that you cannot see auras at all with your physical eyes, you need to concentrate on your third eye.

I am inclined to think that practicing with your third eye (by doing remote viewing, etc) is the best way to train to see auras.

EDIT: oh yeah, and the colors of auras are not actually the colors you see

Robert Bruce wrote an article in which he lists the different colors:

Kiwibonga,

Below is a excerpt copied from discussion from astral society and Robert Bruce reply. From this reading, I can look at a person, object and the outlining glow will pop right on out. The energy/aura will actually looks like heat radiating around the person or object. Depending on if I stare for awhile and lose concentration, my eyes will jump and then I see the glow and mist become brighter, almost as a after image. Its like a faint white, blueish, vibrant energy that surrounds.

Maybe I'm seeing with my third eye just enough w/o thinking about it while seeing with the physical eyes as well.

>>David:> "I was sitting in Economics class when I started to see a faint white glow (not really though, I can't really describe it), it was surrounding the sides of his head. And I could also see a similar one coming from one of the students sitting in front of him, except the student's had a sort of bluish tinge to it. Then I started to see the same thing coming from some of the computer monitors that sit on the desk. At first, I was hoping that I could see auras but then when I saw it on the monitors, I had my doubts."

MY ANSWER:>> Every living, and non living thing has an aura, including monitors. The reason you saw them when you did is {let me guess} You were very relaxed, maybe day dreaming a little. Your eyes were tired, relaxed, and these are the PERFECT conditions for seeing the aura.

>>DAVID:> "That's exactly how I was. The discussion sort of went off topic and wasn't all that interesting to me."

>>DAVID:> "Anyway, I was wondering if you can tell me if I actually did see their aura. I tried staring at myself in the mirror to see my aura but it didn't work and I haven't been able to see their auras since that day a week or two ago. As for some of my questions. I was wondering what colors non-living objects give off (is it white?), how come it was brighter on their heads?"

MY ANSWER:>> You did see the aura! The colors given off by non-living objects vary with the color of the object. The human aura is brighter around the head area for two reasons: 1. Clothing blocks the aura. 2. The head area is usually bare and is where the YELLOW of intellect is most active. This yellow varies in intensity according to the degree of mental activity. Maybe the student you observed was really on the ball that day.

I just found an article which was linked to at Jonas Ridgeway's forum:

http://www.spiritual.com.au/articles/psychics_mediums/opening-the-third-eye-rmueller1.htm

EDIT: To anyone reading this, be careful when experimenting with the third eye, it can be dangerous, so inform yourself before attempting.

It's pretty interesting, and it makes me wonder about experiences I've had as a kid...

I've always had a big fear of mirrors because whenever I was tired and stared into a mirror, I would see my face turn green and my eyes would become bright yellow dots.

A few days before my family moved to the US I had to sleep in front of a mirror we were bringing along... I had to turn it the other way because whenever I attempted to fall asleep, I would see myself shapeshift and that just gave me the chills. I had a terrible nightmare about a plane crash too :p

Tired eyes or third eyes? Good question :o

Yes, I can see them too. White, blue etc. I never have really paid any attention to them, I can remember seeing them since child.

TVOS -

From what I've read about seeing auras, you just need to keep doing what you're doing. I believe that Robert Bruce says to take about 10 or 15 minutes a day focusing on the outlining colors you're already seeing, and slowly it will become more clear and vibrant. Are you able to enter trance with your eyes open? That would probably help during practice.

Sometimes late on Friday or Saturday nights (when I start getting sleepy) I'll see colors surrounding a person's head and shoulders. I have to kind of zone-out to see it, and then the person wonders what the hell I'm staring at.

David Warner

Stookie,

I am able to just look at a person or object and the energy/aura will pop right on out. From there if I stare I start to pick out faint detail of color This is not in the trance state from using my physical eyes. At times, when I'm out of body, I'm able to see my aura quite clear in the astral.

This is something that I never paid attention to or experienced before I started down the path of the oobe. It wasn't until after I started seeing the aura. The best conditions that I can suggest for viewing is under parking lot. All I have to do is stare for a few seconds and wham-o its there! I wave my hand back and fourth and the outline, mist is vibrant  white, blueish. I thought it was the lighting that was creating the effect?

Why its dangerous to experience with the third eyes ?

And do you think we can see aura of people on the television or in a picture ?

kiwibonga

You can get headaches and other ailments if your chakras are imbalanced -- it's important when you build up your third eye and crown chakras to always build up the others as well.

I dont know I dont build my chakra , how do you do that ?

WarpedReality

Yeah I have always seen floating colors since I was a kid. I have especially been seeing them lately after practicing phasing/RTZ projection.

Although strangely, I have also been seeing a lot of these colors next to electrical equipment. Maybe we are just seeing explainable energy such as EM Fields or electrical noise?

astraluminated

I can also see these energys and colors around peoplle and objects and and also energys in mid-air, kind of everywhere, i have gotten this ability when i started practicing aura excersises like concentrating on your finger and then focus behind your finger and then repeating this for about ten minutes. but since a month or so i can also see some sorts of shadowly spheres flying around, kind of funny sometimes, At least i know i am not alone, jippie i have friends lol.
Sometimes i can also see that kind of energy comming out of my hands especially when i charge my body with energy, then i can really see the energy bursting out of my entire body, kind of cool, gives me that kind of super sayain feeling when they screem reall loud and turn yellow and stuff.
Perhaps this energy is qi energy of prana. I rad an article somewhere on how to control it.
Guess i could try looking for it.
and krisna answered; Yes ascension is truly very very difficult for men, unless... Adi Shakti interferes.

Sepultura123

I tryed yesterday to try to see aura in school but I didnt have a single verification.

These thing look though like astral projection , or maybe you have to be gifted.

Sunn

since i've been reading all the talk about 3rd eyes on this thread mine is starting to get the "vibes"... mmmmm vibes

Leilah

TVOS, what about when your non-physical? Do you see auras then?

Awhile ago (about 6 months ago) I took a look at my hands/arms while non-physical, and instead of vanishing, I noticed blue and green sparks flickering all over them.

Have you seen anything like that?
Leaning over
Crawling up
Stumbling all around
Losing my place
Only to find I've come full circle.

David Warner

Leilah,

Funny you should ask that - about a month or two ago I had the chance to look at my hands, arms and basically saw the same as I did in the dream. This is taken from my web site from earlier experiences when viewing my aura in the astral:

The aura that I had seen early in my experiences was a beautiful blue color with a white crescent gleam.  I was able to focus intently on the aura permeating my hand, arm and whole body. There were two layers of movement with the aura, the first outer layer was a constant flow around my body, and the inner layer would move back and fourth in conjunction with the first layer.

I've not yet been able to see sparks, its mostly a outline glow of white, blue, black, purple that I see. Almost, like a invisible force around the object.

The next time that I'm in the RTZ I'll set my intent just to stare at my hands and other people, objects.

Ap Friends,

Here's a good a valid question. A friend of mine were discussion seeing aura's, energy during daylight, softlight, background colors etc.. Being able to see the energy, aura in those conditions.

Now, what about seeing the aura, energy in a dark room where no light is available. Would you still be able to see the energy, aura with your physical eyes?

kiwibonga

In theory... With the third eye, you can see in the dark in the first place... So what I think is, while the third eye's vision won't be combined with the physical eyes' vision, it will still look the same as if the room was lit!

But then again, the aura's light is possibly like a cloud of etheric matter through which white light passes to produce different colors...

So I don't really have a conclusive answer...

Stookie

I don't spend a lot of time looking for auras, but I did attempt to look at my own in a mirror. As per Robert Bruce, I turned off all the lights but left the door open a tad so all I could see was my silohette. It didn't take long before I could see very faint glow around my head and shoulders.

I believe he says you should leave a little light for focus, but the darkness helps from confusing the aura with afterimages.

David Warner

Stookie,

I will try that in the future - I appreciate the info. I don't doubt that I am seeing the energy and the aura.. just need to practice and fine tune it.
