Hey guys I have a question for you. I know about the vibrations and all, but what is with the sudden body spasm? I will be enjoying my view in the Astral and then all of a sudden I get this incredibly strong body spasm. Sometimes it is enough to make me jump out of my chair. I also once in awhile will be travelling and then my physical body takes a huge breathe of air. I am basically new to all this travelling and I'm sure some of you seasoned veterans have been through this too. Is this all a control thing that I further need to learn?
Thank you!

As for the sudden breathing.
Your body was probably just struggling to take a breath.
Thank you for the info Xanth! They really can be quite strong at times.

I usually get them when inducing an obe. Usually when im pretty close to the exit I'll get a nice jolt, sometimes it will spring my arms like 2ft off the bed or jolt both my legs into a bent position. I just calmly put them back and dont act bothered by it and the exit vibration is usually minutes away.
Also sometimes a twitch will occur, like a muscle spasm. Not sure why, but again from my experience little things like this let me know im real close to the exit and can actually be helpful. Sometimes it will knock me back to a state of awareness to be alert for the exit vibration instead of falling into to deep of a trance resulting in sleep and just dreaming. But sometimes it doesnt happen at all, probably more often than not though.
Sounds like your getting these while your already out n about. Never happened to me when I was out. But whatever it is its probably the same thing. Maybe some type of energy build up..? Its tough to say, its not like you can open up a science book and find some hardcore facts on obes. :-D
No Tee, I don't get the spasm while travelling, I get it on the build-up just as you described. I noticed something though, I do get them when I am really relaxed and seem to be falling into a daze. Maybe they are meant to keep me aware, because they certainly do achieve that. :-)
Thank for your reply!
