Calling Out to People when OBE?

I say:  I don't doubt that it was real. I just never heard of anyone having this kind of experience. I've been reading about lucid dreams and OBE and never have come across a situation like this. I guess I'm begging to relate to someone else who has had a similiar experience.  I didn't know that I could "call" someone and have it INSTANTLY GRANTED!!  I sure do wish it was sometimes that easy in life []

Thanks for responding to my post.  I see lots of people have viewed it but no one seems to have any comments on it. I'm starting to feel weird (like I'm alone HAAAA).[]

I think it is beautiful that you were able to call your lover to you.  Did you talk to him later to see if maybe he had any dreams about you?

What I don't understand if why did you change your mind after he came?  If you were able to think of calling him, are you sure you are not "ready" for that to happen?

Oh, and your not weird, there are many accounts, of people having various sexual activities when the OBE.

Since you study dream interpretations I have one for you.

It happened allot about four years ago.  I even went to a book signing thing where these three gurus were supposed to be experts.  Each one shook their respective heads at me and said they did not know.[}:)]  But I don't think they were involved in spiritual stuff.

It had slight variations but were the same basically.

I would be lying in bed asleep, (duh, ok I guess that part would have been obvious).  I would hear someone shout out my name.  It was so real and vivid, truly audible.  The first time it scared me so bad that my heart was pounding and I was breathing hard.  I just knew that someone was there in my room.  I jumped up and was ready for a fight.  I turned on all my lights and searched my entire apartment, several times.  All windows closed and locked.  All doors closed and locked.  I was the only one there.[}:)]  

After that I recognized it as a dream and did not search my apartment.  I would lay awake and think about it, but never came with an answer.  In all cases I was not previously dreaming anything.  And there was nothing visual at all.  Just the sound of someone shouting my name at me.[B)]

My reply:  I think it was pretty strange at first. I thought maybe it was something evil, but the more I think about it the more I regret shoo'ing it away because it was so beautiful.  The BIG thing is that I DO NOT HAVE A LOVER/BOYFRIEND/HUSBAND. I'm single and am not even dating anyone. I don't even like anyone around me enough to date (haa haa).

I didn't get to talk or see. My eyes were closed (but I could see the image and knew when the spirit was going to kiss me) right before the spirit kissed me is when I said "no".  I didn't do any research on OOBE or Lucid prior to that experience.  IF I ONLY KNEW THEN WHAT I KNOW NOW........

So, I take it not a lot of people have had this experience???

I say:  I've had that kind of dream before (hearing voices clearly) but I, unfortunately, just brushed it off.  Have you been experiencing OOBE or have been lucid at the time of this dream?  If not, It could have been a lucid dream and one that was trying to get your attention to the spiritual side of things.  Sometimes, to get your attention, the spirits must shock you (like they did with me in my experience I wrote about above) and my life has been changed every since.

That's probably all it was.  Very spiritual indeed (a wake up call - hee hee albeit alseep when getting it).

Some might say it was your quote unquote, soul mate?

I often wondered if it was my inner being, spirit guides or something along those lines.  Now that I come to think of it, I was really reading ALLOT of spiritual books at the time.

My first lucid experience was actually leading me into an OBE. When I realized I was lucid, I said "Wow.. this is great.. let me take this a step further and bring my lover to me" and BAM.. that's when I felt my body vibrating.  Next thing I know there's, what I think, is a human on top of me, embracing me. I could feel the body weight.  Even though my eyes were closed, I can see that he was just about to kiss me and that's when I realized that this was more than just a lucid dream because I could feel this while I'm in bed.  I felt that this man actually popped out of my dream and I popped out of the dream as well. I stopped it by saying "no, I'm not ready for this" and poof.. GONE.  I knew it was a spirit of some sort.  I live alone so there's no chance of a real guy being there.  Once the spirit left, I slowly opened my eyes with my hands in front of me (in the way you would put your hands out to push something off of you).  I was in shock for a few minutes thinking what the heck just happened.  This was about 5 months ago.

My life has been changed ever since that experience. I've been stuyding dreams for many years and have become an expert at interpreting. I also have psychic dreams (so I'm not knew to dreams). I purposely choose not to have lucid dreams because I didn't want to control anything.  Now, since this experience, I have about 1 a month and am practicing to have at least 3 a week. OBE's will be next experience but not until I understand everything.

QUESTION:  Can you call out to someone in an OBE state?  Did I call my astral lover to me or is it possible that I called someone else who was maybe coming out just at the time I called for them?  I haven't heard or read of any other experience like this.  I'm very curious. One thing I do know, that other "person" or "spirit" was real.  It was gentle, tender and loving (not evil at all)
