So I've been trying to Astral Project for over 6 months now, and considering it usually takes my 1-2 hours to fall asleep normally it's pretty tough for me. Not to mention tourettes syndrome and all. I've felt the vibrations twice now, and I can usually force-relax my body (I have to concentrate pretty hard on it though...) while still trying to invision objects in my mind. I've almost done it once, but I overexcited myself right before. Over the last two weeks, I've been doing it more frequently; the last 4 days I've tried every night without much success, but it was a good meditation process.

Anyways though, yesterday night I was out with some friends. I didn't get any sleep, and got home around 9:30 am both hungry and tired. I went to sleep. I remember waking up a few times inbetween, and I did think of trying to Astral Project. I concentrated on it a bit, but don't recall feeling anything and passed out. Then suddenly I had this dream. I was in a recreation of a friends house that was being worked on via construction, and I had a brief chat with him and my step-dad for some reason. Then, out of nowhere I seemed to recall I was a ghost. I was able to move through vents, windows, and small walls at inhuman speeds. I flew around for a bit in this dream, and dealt with some ghost-talking lady before I went lucid.

Now, I'm not quite sure how this happened. It literally just lightly snapped into my mind that I was in a dream. So little did it affect me that I barely realized it myself. Looking back on it I wouldn't remember this until I recall the fact that I could clearly feel the tips of my fingers. This is when most of my conciousness went into the dream, and I now understand why they're called 'lucid'. I felt like I was there, but I wasn't, and like the world was flowing past me faster than usual. It was almost like being a different state of drunk. So since I realized I could feel the tips of my fingers, I tried to make small movements so I wouldn't shock myself awake in life. Now, obviously the first thing I wanted to do is test my powers.

I slowly moved my hand without moving my fingers much to fast a wooden pallet that was in the basement I was in. I repeatedly thought 'burn' and of flame and the top of it slowly started to burn. Not much, or realistically for that matter, but it was. Next, of course, I wanted to fly. I concentrated on weightlessness and jumped up towards the ceiling above me, hoping to fly through it. I did this several times, with several different techniques. I literally believed I could fly and pass through walls, that I had no weight. Yet - I could not do this.

Now I think I left a state of lucidness suddenly as the next thing I remember is being in the room of a second story house. What's the 3d thing I wanted to try in lucid? Well... sex haha. I pictured a friend of mine in front of me, and slowly shaped her body into a nicer figure (My first image of her was completely off). Now, before I could even think of doing anything else she literally jumped on my and despite the fact we were both wearing clothes it didn't seem to matter in my dream. I picked her up and held her out a window (And there were a few dream people there lol) as I had sex with her. It only lasted 4-5 seconds, and then suddenly I had an orgasm and woke up. Embarassing, but natural I suppose.

So without much warning I finally got to experience lucidness. What I was wondering, is there any reason I was unable to fly? I tried everything I've read about. Also, any tips for me reaching this state again. I think the experience will be helpful, as it will give me more control when I reach it naturally and I've realized the more fatigued I am the better. I'd really appreciate comments. Thanks. =)

everything is trial and error along with patience and time developing your technique..
