This morning i lost the closest thing in the world to me. My 10 year old Labrador. He has been having these mini sicknesses and the vet said it was just his arthritis. We took him to another vet and found out he had a tumor so we had to euthanize him. He was the best damn dog in the world. He was so soft and gentile and he was the biggest sweetheart. Me and my family are crushed. I just want to see him again, and i plan on doing this soon. Pllleeeeaaasseee hhhellllpppp? :(

It's possible but I would assume you would need to have some experience under your belt.

Quite a bit of experience.

Might have to wait until 2012.

I'm sorry about your loss. Have you ever projected?

Ps: I agree with Kurtykurt42

Sorry to hear your old friend has passed over.  Here's what I would do as a first step:
Your dog can now help you become lucid by becoming a dreamsign. In case you don't know what this is, a dreamsign is something which can help you become lucid because it can only be seen seen in dreams. You can no longer see your dog in the physical plane, so any time you do see him, you will know instantly that you MUST either be dreaming or astral projecting. If you concentrate on your dog as you fall asleep and tell yourself that when you see him you will realise you are in the astral, it's very likely that you will dream about him and then use the contact as a trigger to induce lucidity/astral projection.
Some people who have had a near-death experience say they have met their deceased pets on the other side. If you do a search for "pets in nde"  you'll find a few examples.

You can see your dog in astral projection, but it is more likely that you will see him in dreams.  So follow the previous poster's instructions, or just ask to be lucid enough to 'stay with it' when you do.  It is possible that you may have to wait a few days until your grief has subsided.  He will wait patiently until you are ready, and you will see him.

James Van Praagh, executive producer of the television series Ghost Whisperer, has written several books on spirituality and spirit communication. He described that grief is the biggest obstacle preventing people from communicating with loved ones that have just passed over to the other side.

Hmm... weird, in a lucid dream last night I responded to this thread, and now I'm remembering that it was in fact just a really lucid dream and I didn't actually respond to it.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. But please believe that death doesn't have to be, and frankly isn't, the end. You'll see him again, don't worry.  :-)
