Hey everyone.
I hope you are all doing good. I just wanted to make this topic really quick... I been wondering what has happened with my past OBE's. They didn't make much sense to me. It's extremely hard for me to keep focus for long periods of time. I get so interested I guess that I end up going back into dream mode... etc. I can't seem to project anymore. :/ I had this one day where I projected 3 times. After that day I haven't had any and I don't know why. No way am I complaining. I will take 3 OBE's in a day ANYDAY. Was so cool. :-) But I do have some questions and I was wondering if you can help explain these. Thanks guys!
OBE #1: This one was uncontrolled at first. I had a dream that reminded me of astral projection. (Or made me more alert) and I felt the falling sensation really hard. I popped out of my body and could not see one thing. It was dark but I could move. About five seconds later I found myself at a mall it looked like??? And my mom was there I immediately ran to her and hugged her and she was in shock kinda. (I am always talking about my experiences with her and want to prove it... but I have given up on that for now... lol) She said something like "Cody that is amazing!" I can't remember... I literally felt the hug though. Then I woke up. Well turns out my mom was not at a mall of any sort, at the time I had that OBE. It only lasted about ten seconds. What the heck was this?
OBE # 2 Alot more aware on this one. I popped out of body, and wanted to go upstairs to check on my grandma. I walked through the door going up there. (amazing feeling by the way.) I had to use some force though... but I managed. I see her in a black t shirt and grey sweats. She was feeding the dogs at the time. I noted two dog bowls in her hands. I was touching her shoulder to see if she could sense me or anything... I didn't get a response. after a while I am not sure what happened. I kept tapping her and all of a sudden she grabbed me and hugged me and had the same response my mom did in the above OBE. Not the same words but close. I too tell my grandma about this stuff, but... have also given up lol. Well I find myself back in body after the enormous hug I got and went upstairs. There was my Grandma in a black t shirt and grey sweats, and the dogs had just finished eating. That to me was so cool seeing that... But she had no clue about what I just did. She just looked normal... Did I go into dream mode or something?

I have had this intense desire to validate my experiences too. I think maybe we manifest it in the OBE because that's what we want. I've dropped the desire now and am trying to get rid of that ego-- that part if me that seeks validation so badly-- since it interferes. I'm focusing on being grateful for what I have experienced and remaining open to new experiences. I've have learned a good lesson though about the nature of the astral .... it can be whatever we want it to be. I think the validation will come with time and patience when we stop seeking it so intensely.
Scout that is a great reply. I gotta stop focusing on these validations and be grateful. This might help me have OBE's again. We'll see. :-D

I find it quite amusing how validations in OBEs usually happen when a person is Not looking for it. As if almost by accident a person OOB will see some random event, in this case your grandmother feeding dogs, and this event is later confirmed to have actually taken place. And then when a person tries to validate an OBE, for example sets up a card experiment, the following OBEs are rarely, if ever validated. It sometimes seems like a cosmic joker messes with OBEers just for the fun of it! :? :-D
