The best person to guide you out of your body is someone you trust who is in spirit. An angel, your guardian angel, higher self, or a spirit guide are the best ones. Relatives who are in spirit who you have a very high level of trust with can also help. Just ask for help as you start to do the trancework.
Now understand that you go " out of your body" every day. The level of awareness is probabaly what you want to increase. you learn this by meditation and learning to focus in trance. I found a really good book that talks about self induction of the trance you need to use. The meditation and focus you use going into an attempt at projection or phasing is identical to self hypnosis. There are a lot of resources that we are not utilizing because it's not presented as astral projection literature. But it's easy enough to apply. The kindle version of " Self Hypnosis; Creating your Own Destiny" By Henry Bolduc is an excellent book. I started it this morning and I can't put it down. That's one thing i've tried is to contact spirits for help to no avail
