if you kinda ignore the music and pay attention to the background noises, doesn't it remind you of noises you would hear before an OBE?

Volgerle

no, it doesn't, unless you mean it to be hemisync binaural beats  :-)

I think that everyone has different obes with (or without) different noises, I think it is a rather personal thing and cannot be generalised.

Every once in a while I'll hear a song with something to it that reminds of something non-physical. Like some sort of weird sound that I relate with non-physical movement or phase-shift. I suppose it can happen with all forms of art, like recognizing something in an abstract painting with deep familiarity.

There's a sound in the first 2 seconds of this song that literally sent shivers through me the first time I heard it because of how eerily familiar it is and the experience I relate it to. I wouldn't expect others to get the same thing though.

I believe I've heard noises akin to that (the very beginning of that song).
Long live METAL!
At least I don't hear the intro to Slayer's "Raining Blood"

the time lapse shots in Gladiator Seem to remind me of the astral somehow.
