hmmmmmmmmmm i would deffinetly thin so i mean you wouldnt in a lucid dream but i think that it is deffinetly possible it might take a while to acomplish though cause if you can meet your spirit guide id guess youd could meet your friends but then a again youd have to be in same time same area same plane so its possible just might be difficult though

yes you can and I have done so on several occasions. Talking becomes obsolete because your feelings seem to pour out on thier own and information is viewed. It's like talking to someone with a hologram room, you can show them what you are talking about instead of using only words. Atmosphere and feelings are very easy to pick up too and are a vital part of this kind of communication.

I also spar with people in the astral on occasion. [] That is fun to do.

From what i've gathered, you can meet people in the astral realm. I think it'd be easier in the real-time plane thought, but i've never projected so i wouldn't know.

I think I've done it a couple of times, but only one is validated so far. In theory, sleeping at the same time is not a requirement.

If I'm out of sync with my partner I can't articulate and don't understand what he/she says.

If my partner wake up, he/she become a puppet (it's rare to disappear). We can fly together holding each other's hand. Arms seem somewhat elastic.

Yes, but it requires a degree of skill and control.  Not necessarily equal skill, but one of the members needs to be fairly adept.

Thanks!  I only wanted to know this because a friend and I are both attempting APs and when we can both do it successfully, we want to meet up and that kind of thing though at the moment, I know more about it than her but thanks for answering my questions.

Someone said something on different planes, does that mean that we could both be in a different dimension so to speak?

Yes, so to speak. Accordingly there are a certain amount of dimensions you can 'travel' in, and each one is a different plane of existance. There are supposedly sub levels of these dimensions, and so on.

Me and Tayesin did it a few times over a year ago.

I've also done it with SmileySpirit. I saw her wearing the clothes she was wearing before her exit. She saw me as a white ball of light that time, which I was.

Tayesin and me were able to follow each other. SmileySpirit got lost when I went underground.

yes but it was blurry

We didnt talk, but I sometimes knew what he wanted me to do, like "stop fooling around with that other energy being and come to me before I get lost."

Its pretty interesting, Its pretty much like you have to sync the right time & place. And everyone might not percieve an action or event the same, there is even a part that talks about one of the people missing the meeting one night, but projecting the following night and it synced up.

Soooo what if you DON'T know the person (in real life)? What if you met over the internet, and only one person knows how to AP? Is it possible to (how do I word this?) "pull" the other person from their physical body and into the astral?? I've asked this on other forums, but no one gives me a direct answer. Does anyone know?

Well, I remember when I first started practicing astral projection voluntarily, I had an "assignment". My brother and I had decided that whoever leaves their body first would go into the other's room and see if they can wake the sleeping person up. I was the first to leave that night. As soon as I got out of my body, I knew exactly what I was supposed to do, where to go, and how to get there. The only reason i didn't get to complete my "assignment" is because that was the second time I had voluntarily projected and it was still very hard for me to get away from my body. I tried as hard as I could to walk down the hall, but it was as if something was pulling me back to my body. (I read that you have to get away from your body quickly or else it pulls you back in.) But at that time, I didn't know you could just imagine being somewhere and end up there. I don't know why, but at that time, there wasn't a doubt in my mind that I would be able to "pull" my brother into the astral.

Perhaps these things happen differently for different people?

I was wondering if you could pull someone out of their body.  What if somewhere, unconciously, they didn't want to go?  You could totally freak them out if you tried to 'yank' them out of their own body and I figure they might do something to send you flying smack back into you.  If you're on the Astral Plane and someone else is partway dreaming, then if they're in that plane, they can probably do something to you from that plane.  I mean, when you dream, everything is possible so why not a crossing of planes?

I think you could pull someone out of their body but only if they want to come with you and have made that decision firm in their mind before you begin.  If they don't then natural reaction will come into play, fight or flight.

I've had that pulling feeling back into my body the first time I kind of succeeded.  I was like, 30cms and kind of sitting up and the force was way stronger than me and I couldn't fight it.

I'm kind of taking a break from OBE/AP trying at the moment because I had my appendix out so am a bit sore in areas where I need muscle to 'sit up'.

Hope some of this info helped though I do think it's possible.  Actually, you could try more than one person in that room trying to OBE/AP, maybe there's a collective force a whole bunch of people could tap into when you're all trying to get to the same point.  Dunno, just an idea.
