Hey guys,

I had my second OOBE experience last night. I don't remember much, because I didn't wake up to write it down, but I do remember 'waking up' into another dream. This is what happened the first time; I was asleep and woke up into the experience, then when it ended I woke into another dream, then woke up again for real.

I have had no success trying to phase. Is it possible that someone may be able to perform one method and not another? I've been practicing, or trying, to phase for months now, but I haven't really made progress.

Although, I haven't been keeping a dream journal either, so that might be an issue to resolve.

Yes, it's good to try different techniques and then still on top of that, to "tweak" those techniques to your own likings.

Just remember that every Author has written tried and true techniques that worked for him or her. They have written about the way "they" perceive things should be and also the way they think you should access it.

This is the reason you can find so many different techniques on the web, even here in the Stickies we have here on this Forum.

Some people like to access the RTZ, I prefer the NPR. It doesn't mean that my preference is right or wrong, it just means that's what I prefer. The same goes with Phasing, I like Phasing, other people like a more systematic approach of "climbing out of the body".

But, keeping a Journal is very important, at least in the beginning months.  :-)

It's great that you had your second OBE. But you should write it into your journal.

For phasing, have you tried taking a nap from say 6 to 8 pm or 7 to 9 pm and then going to bed at 11 pm or 12 am?  I ask this because for me when I do this I will phase absolutely for sure. (You will phase at 11 pm or 12 am, not before the nap)  As soon as my head hits the pillow I will begin to phase (sleep paralysis)  without trying and there is no way of stopping it.  Maybe I'm just one of those people this works for and others will not have success but thought I'd mention it because the napping method is so amazingly successful.  No "trying" needed --just happens.  I should say that for the nap, you actually have to fall asleep, don't just lay down w/o sleeping cuz it probably won't work.

Phasing in my definition, is known as shifting from a physical focus to a non physical while completely Consciously Aware. There may be a brief lapse encountered, but this is like a blip on the screen, per say.

This can be done morning, noon or night. But is very difficult at night while lying in bed awaiting sleep, for obvious reasons, you lose total consciousness and go to sleep.

Now Michael Raduga at OBE4U.com has a completely different definition for a Phase.
