I have been working on this blog for 2 days now. I have always wanted to have a place and something cool to write about so I figured this would be a great time to start.

I learned css, templating and the gimp in a 1 day cram course and I wrote my first template from scratch. I would love to hear what you all think of it.

QuoteWhat the hells the gimp?!??!

GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed piece of software for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring. It works on many operating systems, in many languages.

It's kinda like Photoshop but it's free and is mostly found on UNIX operation systems.

Thanks.. nice site.. LOVE the picture at the top of the page..

Will be interesting to see you progress as i am (i believe) on the border of projecting and sounds that you are a little further along so it will be nice to see how you are going..

Did notice a spelling mistake though not sure if you care too much:
In the piece about Hemi-Sync CD's etc you have written "So you see that while the "Gateway Experience" series is well rounded, this series is targeted at relxation and Out of the Body."

Those CD's sound very relxing

dbmathis

Thanks, spelling is indeed one of my biggest weaknesses. I thought about being a better speller once in the past and then realized it was a hopeless cause and gave up. :)

In regards to Astral Projection and my site, thanks for taking a peek and yes it seems that we are both on the same path and at about the same point on that path. I feel like I am making great progress and actually reached the vibrational state a few minutes ago and literally freaked out because it was so intense and lost it. I was using my new technique and I will write about it now on my blog and then post here as well.

Thanks for showing an interest in Astral Projection which I believe is key in human evolution. I will see you on the other side.

Best Regards

David

LOL, when I made my blog, I couldn't wait to start writing so I just used Blogger.  WAY easy for those who are not skilled in programing languages.  One thing nice about a blog is you have a place and a motivation to start documenting experiences.  Thinking and writing about it more can cycle back to more experiences so it works out great!

That's what I have read in several books, plus it gives my a way to look back on previous experiences and look for patterns.

I chose blogger simply because I am very impressed with Google :). I am a loyal follower of anything that Google is a part of. I considered using Wordpress or Movable Type as I have a Linux web server at home I could use to host the site, but I am being lazy. I have too many sites running at work and at home already to maintain and keep backed up.

I am really excited about Projecting and am eager to share my experiences with others through my blog and on here.

Yeah, same with me.  I was using Google back when it was still in Beta if you can believe that!  I was so happy that my searches were actually yielding decent matches that I think I have rarely touched any other search engine since.  So google/blogger has a lot of good warm fuzzies for me.  I hope the company lives up to that over time. I used to use another free blog site but they eventually closed up shop and took my old blog to oblivion.  That is another reason I chose Blogger this time. I figure they are sooo big, if they closed, like a million people would be peaved and that would hurt Google's image.  Therefore, my blog should be safer (fingers crossed).   Anyway, keep up the good work on the blog.   We will all be watching!  ;-)

Thanx for the link db.
I'll check out your new blog soon and return with feedback.

btw The astral journal/blog has become very popular lately. And many are fascinating reads. People who blog can post their own experiences, comment on their own OBEs and also take comments from others who read their posts.
Come to think about it my own blog seems like a good idea.

I still have to perform the normal techniques, but it seems to make it easier. The Gateway Experience is great too. I started out using it some and was very impressed.
