Hi,

I´m at the starting point of my OBE/Astral Projection adventure. I stumbled across this site that sold Mind Machines. (I can post a link later if that is allowed). What they do is that they claim to make it easier for you to project. Have anybody at the forum used one and can tell me how well they work. They are kind of expensive so I thought I should seek some advice from more experienced travelers before buying one.

I´m new to the forum so in advance, sorry if I posted this in the wrong section.

Hello and Welcome to the Astral Pulse!  :-)

Mind Machines, otherwise known as Light/Sound machines or AVS machines will help you achieve a NP (Non Physical) focus quite quickly. But what you do when you get there is up to you. Many of the Sessions found in these machines are created to "suggest" a scenario. Such as the shades of blues and greens, alongside a sound track of bubbling water, crashing waves etc.

We have two threads here on two completely different machines. I use the machine named the Laxman and have been using it for over 2 years now. Just recently a new thread for a machine named the Kasina was created here as well. The Kasina is half the price of the laxman.  The Laxman is $599 US and the Kasina is $349 US. MindPlace also has other Mind Machines like the Proteus and the Procyon that are even cheaper in price. But, in my personal opinion the Laxman's visuals are much better. The Kasina is very high tech for people that enjoy making their own programs and like to have total control of their settings, as of lights, frequency, color sequences etc.. I personally found that for this practice, all you really need is a good suggestive visual to achieve a good NP focus and Laxman's and Kasina's Sessions do that just fine.

Here is a link to both of those threads:

Here is a good read as well. This tells you why AVS Machines matter. http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/welcome_to_astral_consciousness/why_avs_audio_video_stimulationstimulators_machines_matter-t44043.0.html

You can post any further questions that you may have on these machines, on their chosen threads.

Good Luck!  :-)

Lionheart I have a question for you, I've read your forums on the laxman and really enjoyed your thoroughness on the topic. Since you seem to have the most knowledge is there a website where I could download something similar, to try this method out on an iPad? Thanks in advance

You could try Transparent's or Mindplace's website. Other than that, I don't know. I don't use a I-Pad, so I don't know what works on one and what doesn't. I know they do have a free 30 day trial program here: http://www.transparentcorp.com/products/np/index.php

I don't even own a cellphone (don't want one either), lol, so I'm the wrong person to ask about that.

Okay thanks so much I'll venture over there and check them out :-D
