Crazy dream about AP

So I have been trying to AP for a couple of weeks now and last night I had a dream about me trying to AP. It wasnt a straightforward type of dream, more like my subconscious was trying to help me ap. Heres how it went

I got on a ship somehow and I look around to find nobody is there. I find a note of some sort saying that everyone left to go someplace I cant remember. After that it states how to get there. The steps were to first find and eat two carrots to get to that drowsy state of mind. After I found the carrots some aliens started trying to invade the ship so I locked myself in the room where I found the note. I ate two carrots and tried my hardest to get there when I realize it was ap that I was trying to accomplish, but for some reason I dont realize I am dreaming. So I hear the aliens trying to get into the room so I eat all the carrots and try harder out of frustration and fear but its no good. My dream calms down after that and the aliens just seem to go away and soon after I wake up...  Damn

Have you figured out what the carrots represent? That sounds like the key to it all.

Out of curiosity, what did the aliens look like?

The dream is too hazy to properly describe them. But they were nothing like greys or anything of that nature.
