Not unless your body had a heart attack or something while you are out of body, but then u would get pulled back to your body if your physical body was in trouble like that. But no, you cant die from having an obe.

whats the difference between an astral projection and an OBE?

My best guess is that astral projection is a specific category of out of body experience. That would require the possibility of being out of body without being specifically in the astral body. Are the dream body and astral bodies identical? Does a mental body projection count as an out of body experience but not an astral projection?

Just don't have an OBE while crossing the street at a busy intersection, or operating a machine or a car!
