Is it possible to communicate with your Astral Body?
If so, what is the best method?
Can i talk to it?

Huh? If you're in the astral body, why would you need to communicate with it?
Definitely a confusing question.
The way I see it, we're always in all bodies simultaneously.
Our consciousness exists across the entire consciousness continuum all at the same time.
I don't believe there is any communicating with your astral body as there is no real astral "body" to communicate with.
But more direct to your question, your "astral body" is you... do you plan on talking to yourself? What exactly were you hoping to ask yourself? :)
I think in a way he means communicating with your "Higher Self" as some believe they communicate with there higher self for guidance and such.

Does everyone have a spirit guide? Can you loose it? Can you converse with it?

Sure, you can communicate with them any time you wish. The barrier herein lies in being able to hear their reply. In the astral you can do it too, but you'll have to ask them to show up (and it's entirely up to their judgement whether they will show up or not).
your astral body isn't an autonomous entity. it is a form that you create to hold your consciousness when you're traveling. it is not necessary though, just convenient sometimes. it wouldn't really be appropriate to consider communicating with it. it's like trying to communicate with your car. i'm sure it takes energy you give it (which is a form of communication) but you wouldn't really learn anything new from it as it is already made of you and your knowledge. what you can do is reinforce it with "praising" energy.
however, you can communicate with it in a fashion. the scenario for communicating with your "astral double" would be if you sent out an astral double that you created to gather information for you. once it returned you would then absorb it and the information it gathered. this could be considered a form of communication with the astral double/body.

wow, i didnt know that was possible, can you elaborate and explain how this can be done? is my conciousness split in two and i recieve information from both bodies simultaneously? can more than one double be sent out and is it possible to switch my conciousness to a double?
no. it's just astral energy with a programmed purpose. it can be as simple as a sphere or as complex as your double.
you could think of it like a psi ball or chi ball. you would create the ball and program it with an intention, a mission. you could set an amount of time for it to be away or just let it go and call it back when you feel it is appropriate. you could send it to recover information from the "physical" or astral. when it returned you would reabsorb it and the information it gathered. then its just a matter of learning how to understand the information. you will most likely receive it through some intuitive pathway (clairvoyance, -audience, -sentience, etc.) but it could come in any number of imaginable ways, like as a "sign" or synchronicity in your daily life.
its kind of a form of divination i suppose.
of course, this was from memory so it's probably not exactly the way i learned it. read "Astral Projection Plain & Simple" by Osborne Phillips for the actual version with all the steps and whatnot.
