What is the cure for blindness during OBEs/APs ? I have tried commanding/requesting for more clarity and awareness, but nothing seems to happen and then I probably reach a dreamy and unaware state.
The key for me was to believe my vision would get better. I had vision problem in most of my first OBE. Now when I want my vision, I need to Wish and believe it will appear.
Like if you jump into a pool, and you are above the water, seconds away of hitting it, you expect the water to hit you and you expect to feel cold. There is no doubt in your mind about that (Well, if your pool is a spa then forget the coldness part :-P). The same analogy worked for me in my OBE, for any intention I want (Vision, moving, visiting someone, etc.)
Anyway, the best thing to correct this is still practice. :-D
Be patient and stay in the dream. The blindness passes and visuals will appear soon enough. Just keep your interest in the other senses such as touch and sound. Don't force anything, relax and go with the flow.......
I don't know (from experience) how to get the visuals, but don't ever try to "open" your astral "eyes", because you will end up opening your physical ones, and this will end the projection.
From the books, you can read the techs by Bruce etc, and the most effective one they say is to command "vision now !" loud and clear. Something may appear out of no-where, but I don't think it will be the real thing.
From some, I've learnt that it takes time and practice to be able to "see" in astral, just as an infant learns to see in physical after birth.
Those who are evolved enough (through past lives) can instantly see everything right at their first projection, and those who are newbies take time.
Energy levels also dictate what you see and if you see at all.
