Tyler-
Look inward to find the answer to the question in your original post.  You're own state of mind is what is causing your expereinces. Isn't it always so[?]

One more thing, for future grammatical reference, the title of the post should read something like: "Angels, those winged, cheeky bastards"  or, keeping with your orginal synatx, something like "Angels, those cheeky bastards with wings..."

The fact that I am studying English is beginning to destroy me...somebody help!

well, i fail to see how my original post is not mature, but meh, i don't care.

and what do you really need lsd for? it won't help any more than you can already help yourself.

about God: God is not some THING, He is a being. i don't know why people keep confusing God with mere phenomena like positive energy. [B)]

and finally, satan is merely a fallen angel: his limits are no different than any other angel (though he was supposedly an arch angel which means he probably had much more power than the regular angels). he is not the "counter" force to God, there is no counter force to God. God is almighty, satan is not, we are not.

Tyler

If you saying that god is more powerful than satan that contradicts with ying yang equation, which states that positive and negative forces are equal. Even Robert B i take it agrees with that.

Believe me god and satan, whoever they are, are not the all powerful like they want us to believe, they are not the "all powerful" they are simply more superior.

Tisha

Let me try to insert some of my personal beliefs, to try to help, maybe.

The dichotomies we imagine (more dogma!) of good/evil, light/dark, angel/demon, are ideas we cling to to explain the phenomena of pain/pleasure, satisfaction/deprivation, fear/bliss. All human experiences.

But the Divine is all-encompassing and eternal.  There is nothing that exists outside of it, not even Satan, or shall I say our ideas about him.  Everything you meet on the Astral is a part of the Divine.  You choose what you see, based upon what you deeply believe, and what you do with your lives.

Mr. Scientist, whose scientific mind puts you above all other nonscientific creatures posting on this website, did it ever occur to you that your inability to see the Angels says more about YOU than it does about Them? Your earlier posts read like someone who had not yet come down from his cocaine rush.  Honestly.

I mean this in the kindest of ways.  I like to think all of our searchings are in earnest.  Or we wouldn't be here!

Blessings to all,

Tisha

[|)] if you say so tyler.

it sounds like you've already figured out the "universe equation", so you don't need my advice, opinions, or knowledge to help you at all. so i'll just move along now so that you can get back to knowing it all. [|)]

lol.. the cthulhu mythos.. those are good stories. good stories to read when you're bored. i'm a big fan of HP Lovecraft and the cthulhu mythos.

tell me, do you believe in cthulhu, dagon, millions of underwater fish people, the necronomicon, etc.?

such naive people believe in that sort of thing.. especially when the writer who created those things from his own imagination, said himself that they were just that: figments of his imagination!

'the history of the necromicon' was a document created by HP Lovecraft to go along with his stories. it is NOT historically accurate. there was never a mad arab, etc. if you look for it, the word 'necronomicon' won't appear *anywhere* before the 1920s when it was thought up!

if you believe such things as cthulhu and dagon and the necronomicon are real, you might as well tell everyone you are living in fairyland and that you speak nonsense! we're all going to realize it sooner or later. cthulhu only exists in the minds of the ignorant.

if anything like that *did* exist, it would come from more than one source (lovecraft and mythos authors are the only source of such info), from more than one point in time (1920s onward), and not from a science fiction/horror writer, of all people!! get a life!

Since when, is a writing invention of HPL a real entity?

Cthulhu?

After taking LSD, i'd imagine just about anything would be real to him.

LMAO! probably! if he watched more barney growing up, maybe he wouldn't have this problem.

man tyler, you really know how to make people turn over in their grave. this is an HPL quote, the first paragraph to 'The Call of Cthulhu'. one of my favorite quotes, for it's structure and how well it gets the feel of HPL across, not because it's true. it's all completely fictional. lol...

what is your idea of positive? calling me a "daft bonk" and insulting people for questioning your far-fetched ideas that are based on fictional books?

Moments ago was he not protesting that science should be used enlight of guessing.

Tell me, what science is there behind the Cthulhu?

Tisha

LOL!   Cthulu!  Methinks we've exposed a teenager, or, at the very least, arrested development.  Poor thing . . . !  Can we move on now to a friendlier thread? [;)]

(not that I have anything against teenagers; I mean, I nearly have one, she's 11, but not reading HPL yet)

Would just like to point out I was nice.

*waves fist at that demon pic*

goingslow

Well, actually I was nice after I deleted my "get over yourself you pompous fool" post.  Let's be real.

thanks for deleting the demon though.

no_leaf_clover

i thought it was a pretty cool pic of cthulhu, considering he doesn't exist.
