Okay, hello guys. I am currently in high school facing health problems, which has led me to these odd spiritual experiences, or "OBE". Before I start off, it's important to say that I have barely left my house in one year(hives), haven't seen friends or gone to school(now home schooled), and have missed everything in life. Yet, I am getting closer to finding myself.
Can somebody please tell me what they think? How I can do it again? and your thoughts? Thank you :)
It happened a couple of months ago, I fell asleep in the middle of the day. In the beginning of my dream, I was somewhat conscious because I could feel my hives starting to heat up, but in a second or two it went away. The second after my heat disappeared, A woman with a white glow suddenly appeared and met me. She brought me to my good friend's apartment and I saw them, I was happy to have left my house and see them(Even though they couldn't see me, I could see them). After, in the next setting, the woman brought me to another good friend who was walking on the street with someone else. Both of these events were the same time of day, and it was as if this woman or angel was trying to show me my best friends, that I haven't seen in a year. Which made me happy.
Here is what interests me. This woman with the glow then took me to my basement, the place where my unhappiness was created, the place I gamed and lived in boredom wishing to be cured of my health problems, and go in live life. She took me here, I walked in the basement with my laptop in hand, and as I turned around to close the door, I noticed my whole basement started going crazy. The door then aggressively ripped off and through the frame of where the door was before, was now the universe. The moon, planets, stars, it was absolutely mind boggling, but so beautiful and scary. The basement door represented some sort of negativity, the door is what I always opened to go into the basement(obviously) so that could be it. After about 5 seconds of seeing this stunning thing, I collapsed and fell onto the ground in this experience. This is where I woke up in real life with a sudden jump in my heart, and COVERED in red hives. These hives are incredibly painful, yet I didn't feel it through the whole dream. But when I woke up, I felt the pain and quickly ran to the washroom to cool it down with water. It's almost like my soul went back into the body, and was projected out for this experience, which changed my whole perspective on spirituality and souls, and gave me insight to my life that I was to blind to see on my own.
This all lasted about 5-10 minutes.

How did I even do this? Can angels brings visions to you or did I leave my body? I'm really confused and any help or insight would be appreciated. (After months of wondering what happened, I pieced the puzzle, I believe. But I would like some insight on how this is even possible, how I did it, and how I could do it again?)
Welcome to astral pulse RealityDan. It seems you had a spontaneous astral projection. Your experience isn't unheard of. Many people do get at least one out of body experience within their life time. Sometimes these experiences can change peoples lives and sometimes they are brushed off as very lucid dreams. It seems that you had a astral projection experience. Wow, it's really amazing to think that happened. Thank you for the help and links, I will defiantly check them out.
A few things. I doubt it was angel that caused this experience. The women you saw in your experience could be your higher-self, a helper, or just a highly evolved being that wanted to help you, or maybe she was an angel. But as astral projectors we don't like to use words like angels as we know the real nature of the astral and what is out there what isn't. Just the word angel has too much baggage tied to it from religion. You will find astral projectors reject a lot of religious ideas since we know what's in the afterlife and what's not in the afterlife. So this women you saw could be a number of different things but the only thing that really matters is what she taught you. Did she have anything to offer you to grow or comfort you with? People that astral project a lot find that the most important thing to take away from any experience was did what they experience teach them something, and if so what. I don't think any of us here at astral pulse can say whether or not you saw an angel with any certainty. All we can do is help you learn of the possibilities from the non-physical realms.
Just curious what is your belief background was before your astral projection?
Oh yeah this is what I wanted to say. It's important to know that most astral projection techniques work well, but they don't work well for everyone. That is why it's best to find the techniques that work best for you. Not everyone gets vibrations for instance before astral projection, while others always get vibrations before they can astral project. So you really have to try different techniques and consistency practice to find what works best for you.

I have no clue if it was an angel, but I assumed it was because it was a woman with a white glow. It could very well be a different being or my higher self! I am not religious, but I do enjoy a few religions. I'm particularly interested in Eastern ideas in Taoism, reincarnation, and some Western religions. I do believe in God.
I usually don't accept beliefs just like that, so I prefer not to cling onto only one religion.
I have had this mindset that "anything is possible" for about 2 years, even before my OBE. Perhaps, this open mindedness led me to this experience? I'm sure if I wasn't spiritual, I would have just said it was a good dream and not think twice.
Well, before my experience, I felt really lonely. When I saw my friends in the experience, I think it was a refreshing feeling. Near the end, when I saw the universe through the frame of my door, it was a sign to leave my basement, that there are greater things out there. To a long story short, I became lazy and gave up, spent all my time in the basement, wasting my life away. The condition I have led me to give up, which was my weak self accepting this. I am not like this anymore.
This is why I think the basement was portrayed as negative, the door was some sort of access to this negative place, hence it ripped off and I saw greater things through the frame of it.
I may try to do an astral projection, and truly see what is there and find some answers.

I think your spot on with the interpretation of what happened. I use to try to interpret my dreams a lot so I know about the symbolism that is involved.
As far as meeting family members or guides in the astral. Well this is certainly possible.
I can assure you there are no dangers to worry about leaving your body. Remember you always have a LOT of help from the other side. All you have to do is think of your body and BAM your right back in your body. Remember if you ever need help you can call out for help and it will come. Sometimes help can come from odd places. Like a seeming stranger standing nearby. Just ask for help and it will come.
Now there are negative entities out there, but if you ignore them and not think about them then they will go away. There are a lot of astral projectors that think that negs and demons are actually just thoughtforms created by people that have a very negative mind. Remember you are the creator in the astral. So the astral is very much thought responsive. The higher in the realms you get the faster things manifest to your desire. If you constantly think about evil and demons then chances are you will see them. So watch your thoughts, own you power and should have no problems.
Alright, that makes sense. The "demons" probably do go to people that are really scared, as it's easier to tempt and scare them.
