Alrighty, So I am a college student and I had always seen this guy around the college campus and I did not really know him. I am currently living in an apartment and each building is distinguished by there colors, say red=building 12 so anyway, I had took a nap one day and I had found myself outside his building for some reason and he was in a yellow building with all his friends.....Anyway a night out at our local pub I ran into him one night and I finally introduced myself too him I asked him what college residence he was living in and he told me he was living in building 16 which was the yellow building, which was weird because I saw him in a yellow building and he was on the ground floor too! I knew nothing about this before hand as well/ So I was wondering if I had recognized that I was in the middle of an astral projection?? Or was it just simply a dream and just lucky that I happened dream of him??
It sounds likely that you where but i am sure the more experienced memebers can shed some light on your situation :)

Yeah, wasn't too sure, otherwise, it could have been my first astral projection experience and I didn't know it haha :P
I am quite naive on the subject i have had a few experiences i can tell the difference between projecting and a lucid dream normally by how conscious i feel...and i normally exit my body when starting an astral projection so not sure dude :)
It was both.
Personally, the only difference I see now is the amount of awareness during the experience.
Did you feel as if this was really happening in the physical or did it seem like a normal dream?
If it seemed like a normal dream than this should show you how wrong the mainstream is about dreams.
Itsallbad...thats a cool concept on LD & AP :)

It isn't my own concept but I came across it her on this forum and it is what really makes sense to me right now. Different people feel different but that's fine.
It doesn't diminish the wonder of it at all. It just proves that everybody can do this and that everybody does do this.
Indeed i really do like the thoery i think i read somthing similar in Xanths PDF :) it makes alot of sense

Aside from the doc you are working on, what are your interests in AP or OOBE? Are you trying to intentionally have one?
I have always had sleep issues since i was 16 i am 20 now :) like insomnia, dsps then sleep paralysis dreams have always intrigued me... i think its for exploration into a new world to see what i come across and find :) if you can call that some sort of an agenda

Yes it felt real, like I saw everything around me and it seemed to be pretty much the same as I went there, but it was just a sudden realisation and it just kind of hit me, I wasn't really too sure if I was dreaming, but yeah I was there in the moment but I forgot everything after that except when I was near the building..
It was truely fascinating as I didn't even mean to AP lol.
I found my first OOBE one of the most amazing things ever and dang all i did was float about 4 foot over my bed for a couple seconds
My data (and that of others) shows: dreams (non-lucid) are subconscious projections into "the astral". Every thought actually already is 'connected'. It is as real as anything else.
