had another OBE this morning. Second in a row. Flew for the first time. :D

WOW!!

That was fun... Except everytime I tried I flew up and came hurling back toward the ground lol

I am noticing though if I stay out any longer than about 50 seconds, weird things start to happen and I end up in places I have no clue about...

I closed my eyes and said I want to appear at a friends house... nothing happened. I did this several times but usually just kept jumping and flying lol.

Another weird thing... What looked like my old house which is literally a few blocks away from me. It was light outside. How could this be? It was 6:00AM and was pretty dark when I was doing this. And there was lots of people... Didn't ever seem to take notice to me. Then I ended up in a back yard with it drizzling rain and I think I heard thunder? How could this be when it is COLD here. Am I going to other places without even realizing it? Everytime I set a goal to do something I get distracted and end up in some weird place. I haven't seen my grandpa or grandma yet... :/ Am I just in a really low realm or something? I watched my body sleep again.

What I found the weirdest which looked like it was close to my old house there was a bunch of nuns around a big golden jesus statue on this house... I am not religious so what the heck was this about?

A few nights ago, I (OOBE) felt myself lifting out of my body, floating upwards and saw myself rise above through my bedroom ceiling.
I took flight.
I flew to the nearest power station pole and my foot got tangled in the cables when I tried to launch again.
Then I decided to fligh back to my 2 storey dark brown brick house.
However my place of residence during my OOBE is now in a large dark brown block of apartments 2/3 up from the top.
I hovered outside my bedroom window, peered inside and saw my husband sleeping.
I decided to call out to him, he did wakeup and looked in my direction but did not engage.
Then I saw my physical self sit up to settle my toddler lying next to me, yawned and stretched.
After both my husband and physical self went to sleep, I decided to go flying.
I saw a long cable to the side of the apartment block and climbed-jump to the top.
Now with a good high platform, I launched myself into the air, wanting to fly to Viet nam (my mother is currently holidaying there).

The sensation of flying through the clouds in the sky in your astral body feels so real, because it engages all your perceived senses (except taste).
After a few minutes of flying (I think) I landed instead, on top of a block of cartoon buildings,
with cartoon shops. I experienced a cartoon body with dulled touch sensation and heightened vision.
I saw my cartoon arms and legs from the same perspective looking down.
I did not think of creating a mirror to look at my face.

Strange and funny experience  

I usually have a high amount of control and awareness during OOBE.
The cartoon reality had a lucid dreaming quality to it because it was unexpected.

The inconsistencies between Physical Reality & OOBE reality
Physical Reality: dark bedroom, double brick stand alone house, 1am in morning, wearing blue-white shorts and pink T-shirt
OOBE Reality: dim bedroom, apartment block, late afternoon daylight, cartoon: wearing red shorts and white T-shirt.

Thats awesome that you are having some good experiences now! I couldn't maintain flight the first time either. I kept floating back down. The second time though, I flew much better. Have you seen this website? This guy explains why he thinks there are differences in the astral versions of our physical reality. In a nutshell, he says that the lower dimensions that resemble the physical are made by our thoughts/wishes (or even someone else's) that we make during our waking hours. I saw a nice little roll top desk that I do not own in an empty corner of my house during one of my first OBE experiences. It's something I had thought about buying and putting there several times though.

Scout I am about to make another topic about this because I laid down for a nap not to long ago and had yet another one. I went to check on my Grandma, and she was wearing exactlywhat I saw in the OBE feeding the dogs. I was trying to get her attention and I got nothing... But then all of a sudden she saw me and said omg I can see you!!! Gave me a big hug and I got back in my body. I went upstairs and she didn't have a clue.... :/ BUT! she was wearing the same clothes I saw!

That's a good sign of progress as both of you took full advantage of an opportune situation to go out of body. And, yes, flying is a BLAST !.
Armyofone  I suspect that the joy and excitement that you experienced during that short flight was the cause of your plummeting. It tends to work like that you know, as too much excitement tends to cut short many a projection. I can sympathize about

weird things start to happen and I end up in places I have no clue about.

because that sort of thing has happened to me Many times.
