Title: Do entities/spirits sleep?
Post by: blade5x on July 06, 2006, 16:25:27
Just wondering, because we are not always concious (sleep), does anyone know if the cycle of concious/unconcious follows you after death? (has anyone asked an entity about this). I find it hard to believe that we will be forever concious after we die.

There's the akashic pulse theory by Robert Bruce. I think he claims that every X hours, there is a "recall" of all spirits to the source for balancing purposes, and that would be the origin of so-called astral winds.

If that's accurate, it could be the closest thing to sleep, in the sense that it has a purpose, is periodical, and involves an unconscious, necessary repair process.

There's also the buddhic plane (or is it the atmic plane? I forget), where spirits can stay in a state of eternal bliss. That could be considered sleeping, although it is closer to meditation than anything.

How does a living person progress from etheric to atmic plabe, via sleep.
Or is sleep for living people confined to any particular plane ie astral.
What is the dream plane?

Yes I'm very interested in sleep as well, more in terms of dreams, my dreams are so surreal, I wonder what my consciousness/soul is experiencing during dreaming.

oh and
Quotewe are not always concious (sleep)
no way! dreaming is a totally conscious state!

I have 2 turtles and they sleep, and I always wonder why they need it, and what they dream about when they do. I like to think they dream about me sometimes  :-)
