So I went to bed around noon to get a nap before work, I drifted off to sleep and I was dreaming that I was at work sitting down falling asleep just bored, well in the dream I was falling asleep and I clearly felt like I detached from my body and I was in the RTZ within the dream (hope it makes sense). I was glad I was having an OBE in the RTZ when all of a sudden everything around me started spinning and felt like I was inside a tornado of some sort, at that point I heard a voice saying "yes I am here, yes i am here" and then I woke up.

Weird that I dreamt of having an OBE, and the first time I hear a voice. Just thought I would share.

By the way I'm in the midwest, temperature is like -20 windchill, awesome weather.

Take care

To me an OBE in a dream is the same as a regular OBE but with less focus and awareness. In other words you Are aware that it is an OBE but you are not able to do as much while out of body. The bottom line for me is that it was a full OBE and not a dream.
My reasoning is this --- let's say you had the same dream a few years earlier and had never heard of an OBE. In that case you would not consider it to be an OBE and the experience would only be an unusual special dream. Now, with the knowledge of being able to go out of body you were aware of the OBE And were also aware that much of the experience was still dream-like. Some people might consider that a minor difference although I see the change as a major step forward in consciousness.

Thanks to the reply, I will say that I remember my surrounding area seemed like I was looking through a magnifying glass but blurry, seconds later is when everything started spinning around me as if I was drunk, I remember the feeling.

Something I have noticed is that in shortest OBE's I experience physical sensation, feelings, and I can even remember it very vividly, the longest ones  only remember them like a dream but no physical sensations, although I did experience looking at my hands and melting, flying, but can not recall physical sensation.
