Do you get vibes?

Do you get vibes from laying on your side in a fetal position when trying to astral project. That the only way I can do a fully conscious astral projection. I love the vibes they feel awesome, alot better then vibrations. It takes me changing positions many times in my bed to bring on really big vibes. The vibes feel like you lose your hearing and any feeling of your body for a second then it changes back. What do the vibes feel like to you?

I'm sorry if it sounds like a stupid question but aren't vibes the same as vibrations or do you mean a feeling or sensation coming to you? because in my case when I don't get vibrations I feel this weird sensation which is hard to explain but I just know my awareness is changing and I will get out.

For a slip second you dont feel your body and your body breathes by itself. It might be a trance that you get into for a split second then it comes again and again.

So, it is a bit like a pulsating mini vibration- not the continuous one? I think I have experienced something like that.  There was a guy on old use-net alt.out-of-body who described this as "skimming"- because you are just on the surface of the actual OOB experience, but not quite there.

... how are we discerning the differences between these?
As far as I'm concerned, "Vibes" is a short form for "Vibrations".

The word 'Vibe' is short for 'vibrations', as in 'this post gives me a baaad vibe.'  Perhaps the OP didn't mean to use 'vibe' as 'vibrations', but that's what the word means.
The description 'you feel the feeling again and again' sounds like mini-obes, or what I call 'end stage vibrations', when your brain  is more in sync with the frequency of your expanding energy body, and they are experienced slower, like a pulsating dizzy spell.  But it still is a frequency phenomenon, and 'vibes' still mean vibrations.

I guess their not vibes then. I get that feeling then my astral eyes open for a second then I can see my bed then I wait for that feeling again then I was in full control of my astral body. Its like your skipping the vibrational stage and have seconds of the seperation stage that keep getting stronger the longer you wait.

That sounds like 'mini OBE's to me.  I get those when listening to binaural beats.
