during the day and at night....before and while I try to get into the trance state, I try to imagine my self acting like i would be in the AP. like, i jump off my building, go threw walls..walking around in the street..does this help or further confuse me? I think it helps but I'm not sure..it seems fun just imagining it, feels kinda real but its hard to concentrate on because other thoughts try to take over. I feel like I want to crave it so badly that i just try visualizing things i would do in the AP..even though i haven't projected recently or very rarely in my life,(maybe i just don't remember it).

is this a good technique to help my projection?

Visualization is a great skill to have. The trick is to "feel" yourself within it. It's not enough to just picture it in your mind. You really have to experience it, touch stuff, feel wind or the sun, smell things... basically make all the senses involved. Frank called this a "run-down". It also involves doing a certain activity over and over again, really experiencing it. I've been using this one for a few years now:

I'm at a familiar public swimming pool I grew up near. I step up on the diving board, feel the metal hand rails, the course board under my feet, the sun shining down, a slight breeze, the dive, being immersed in water, swimming back to the  ladder, and doing it again, and again and again, until I've successfully "phased".

Once you get the pattern down, you really have to immerse yourself into it, trick your subconscious into believing that you're really there. It's probably best to do something that you would normally do. If your trying to fly and shoot electricity out your hands, I doubt your subconscious will fall for that.

yea lol, my mind will not fall for the electricity thing...but, i used to jump off  buildings when i was younger in my dreams and landed flawless victory..lol i was probably AP'ing back then, just didn't know exactly what i was doing..thanks for the help.
