Hi
i dunno if i was astral projection but can u tell me what u all think? in total i think i had 3. first was, i was falling asleep and i fell vibrations come on but then all of a sudden it seemed i was in some woods but i instantly woke up.
second was i felt the vibrations and all of a sudden i was awake on my bed and my bed was raising but it was a weird environment. the sky was sunset color and my bed was rising in the sky. and there was black spiral steps going up into the clouds. i started calling my spirit guide but saw nobody or heard nothing. and then all of a sudden i woke up.
third time i did not feel no vibrations and it felt quite real. my body rose up in the air and my body floated through the wall my bed was in against and went into the next doors bedroom but i have never seen there bedroom so i don't know if it was actually there bedroom.
the wierd thing that confuses me that inbetween these "experiances if they were" i was dreaming i think of telling my twin brother about astral projecting.
i apologise for my grammer i am having to rush this.
thanks for any replies :)
"dream or astral projection"
Both, because there may not be a difference.
^^ i second that possibility. also, dream-like "things" could manifest while projecting. i know there's a better term, but i'm not all that good with words :P. i projected once and a memory or dream projection of my ex-girlfriend spawned out of nowhere and i interacted with her/it even though the REAL her was watching television on the couch across from me. chances are you have the best idea of whether or not you were dreaming or projecting :)

Well yea from a metaphysical point of view (the one up for critical debate) there may not be, and probably isn't a difference. From the experiencer's point of view they are quite different.
Danny, the basic test is to ask yourself a) Did I have full/waking awareness during my experience? and b) Did I realize I wasn't in my physical body? If you can answer yes to both questions, it was an astral projection. I'll go ahead and guess that they were projections based on the telltale signs of the vibes and the dreams that follow projections that are about projecting.
IMO it's all semantics. Let's just start calling them non-physical experiences in various focuses of the phase.
Terms like "dream" and "astral projection" aren't going away anytime soon, they're what people are familiar with. It's probably easier on the newbs if we just work with the familiar terms but clarify their definitions... at least in the beginning.
Yea I suppose.
yep dreams are projection but not the Astral plaine, higher...

are they really? someone should explain what dreams are because i've been trying to figure it out for awhile now.. even a link would prove just as sufficient too :)
Nobody *knows* what dreams are. Hell, nobody knows what lucid dreams or astral projections are either... we can only guess at these things.
I think they're all non-physical experiences of varying levels of conscious awareness. Hence, they're all the same thing.
With that in mind, try to refrain of labeling and categorizing your experiences. Just have them... log them... and examine them later. :)

i dont want too put ya down too much man, but dreams and their cause and effects are been worked on (planned) daily as to how to go about what to do with their cause and effect, i work in this area daily along with other highly professionals in this area, LUCID dreams are the schooling of the dreams of our sleep, professional Lucid/dreamers know this, so do a alot of other people, it's common knowledge to many...
it's got me ***ed why you dont at least know this, DREAMS are the economy...

The economy man!

The dream economy! I should be selling my dreams! :D
it's just like programming yourself/someone with thought processes, except dreams are the elite programme...
lucid dreamers were able to minipulate (programme) sceanrios in the physical (shut down mostly the  bits now), Lucid dreams which were/can the extension of programming someone with just thought processes, dreams are the pinnacle programme humans can un/consciously do, lucid is just the schooling of this, but the process of dreams how they work is about to be changed (proven) as in it's cause and effect in the physical world, legally... all liveing beings would agree with the process when this happens as many will be shown how this world has been and will be to work...ya wont fault it, as it's scrutinized thoroughly regulary by those at the front end of the economies of economics/enegy etc...
thats mostly/all what i do as hermetics/metaphysics/minds abilities/where thought originate from etc are all factors in this New Worlds Workings it's economy(s) :-)...
good luck

I hope you won't be offended when I don't take your word for it. ;)
Calm down on the sugar ;P

Ether2, could you point me in the direction of any online communities discussing the sort of stuff you mention? I'm genuinely interested.
OP: If it feels like a projection call it a projection. If it feels like a dream call it a dream. If it doesnt seem to fit one then dont bother labelling it or just pick whichever it feels closest to. Thats what I do.
Hey so i duno if dreamin is same as AP but oh well. Do yas reckon i astral projected?

Then you won't mind showing us your irrefutable proof of this then, right?
Sorry Danny, but nobody can really answer that question for you. You'll need to come to your own conclusions. Personally, my opinion is that there isn't much difference between the two experiences. :)

people dont like talking about this (it's an instrument of the controll of why all is), so i have no idea which direction to point ya in for online on this subject i was shown by an (now) X President what direction to go in, but it requires skills in particular areas...
heaps know about it now as they are just coming to terms with it, it's the biggest kick in the balls anyone can imagine, ya will hear/see about it soon for yaself all people (age (country) pending) will be shown soon by Higherself, ya cant change the worlds cycle/system with out it to the extent it needs/wants/will be done by those low/high in the chain poverty to Presidents etc, it's going to happen, when one understands the worlds energy usage, we have no choice...

Hey we are each entitled to our own opinion. Personally the whole debate on weather it's the same or not bugs the hell out of me and i do not wish to get in the middle of it. I just gave him MY opinion. And i respect yours and others as well. He came here seeking advice and full of questions. Let's help him, instead of fighting over it. How's that sound?

i'm so confused. i've come to believe that dreams aren't "always" in your head. i feel that they do take place in somewhere nonphysical, but i feel there's many possibilities as to where you "dream", how you "dream", and why. so far from my experiences, i've been straight up shown one of my personal faults in life so i do believe they can reveal lessons to better the individual. along with this, i've come to believe that some dreams an individual may experience may be there to test them. i've come to believe they can show the future. i believe some dreams take place in the astral because i've recalled having been to a "flying school" and i can also recall having been picked up by a number of entities and flown with them. lastly, i do believe dreams spawn images from memory and that they may simply allow the dreamer to exist in their "dream" or fantasy worlds.
feel free to explain how things may be true or untrue. i also feel that i might not be seeing the bigger picture in that every aspect or certain aspects may very well be connected.
i think this is on topic, but lmk if i should move it elsewhere!
To put it scientifically, when you dream your subconscious it going through events throughout the day etc. If you didn't dream than you'd go crazy. To put it bluntly. And when you dream your brainwaves switch around as well. in MY opinion, when your project you transfer your consciousness to your energy body. While your dreaming your just getting those visuals from the DMT your body produces. While i dream though, sometimes spirits like to answer a question of mine that way, or even my crystal skull likes to teach me through dreaming.

Yes, but you didn't state an opinion. You tried to state a fact. Please re-read your post. Nowhere in it did you say you were stating an opinion. ;)
Gotta watch out for that. You WILL confuse people.

I'm with you man. Be weary of people who are eager to tell you what dreams are. Because, IMO, dreams are many different things and individuals dream in different ways.
Much research has been done with dreams. Many interesting things were found. It appears that dreams can be both telepathic and precognitive. Check this out:

A bugbear of mine.
My expression for this is "opinion presented as fact". It happens a lot, especially on boards such as this. None of us knows the truth about AP, but people are sometimes so convinced of their own ideas that they express their ideas as FACTS without any real authority to do so.
So, we need to humble-up a bit and pepper our posts with "IMO" or "I think" etc. But in a long post it can become irksome. But at least it's still good manners to pop in the odd "IMO" so that others don't either (i) mistake everything we say as fact or (ii) take exception to strongly held but unsubstantiatable opinions.
That's IMO of course...!
