"Dreams" inside of "dreams"

I'm gonna use labels here.. but what do you think about "Dreams inside of dreams"?  I've had dozens of these in the past month all of a sudden. I "wake up" from a "Dream"  and I'm still in a "Dream."

So outside of labels, and dreams being OBEs, its confusing me.  It doesn't make sense to have an OBE inside an OBE.  Or if it is possible I can't even comprehend what that even could be ?

My brother told me he thought it was moving from an environment to another environment, still not quite being lucid.
Any experience with this?  Is he correct?  Thanks as always.

It makes sense, and I totally understand how people can think it's a "dream happening within a dream", but it's the same kind of illusion as you believing this physical reality is objective.

You described it perfectly actually...

It's not a dream within a dream... it's really no different than you dreaming, then waking up to this physical reality.
There's no "layering" to this.  You're dreaming... and if the dream shifts to something else, then that's simply what happens.

It's one continuous "projection".

Essentially, yes, your brother is correct.  :)

I find some dreams to be overlays to something else that is going on . the actual "real" event I dont preceine instead the dream is what I remember These experiences have a different feel I can usually tell the difference. Not all dreams are overlays. I think this must be common

I have had this happened several times and upon awakening I always think of the movie "Inception" LOL

I had a dream that was running along side an OBE awhile ago.  The OBE is what I experienced but as soon as I returned to my body I was fully aware of the dream that must have taken place at the same time.  I had done a conscious exit and was awake for quite awhile before I projected, so it's not like I was remembering a dream form earlier.

Did the dream within teach you anything that applied to the dream outside of it?
Look at the wider implications.
