So with a week off work I'm going to spend a lot of time at home and I wanted to experiment with the old sensory deprivation tanks. Since the closest real sensory deprivation tank (float tank) is states away I was thinking about just filling my jacuzzi up with lots of salt. I know this isn't the ideal float tank but wanted to experiment anyways. So how much salt do you think it would take? And no I don't know how many gallons of water it holds but I'm 6'1, 203lbs and fit in it with room to spare.

Check and see if any of the universities in your area have psychology departments.... they may have a sensory deprivation tank that you might be able to use if you ask nicely :)  or did you already check that avenue?

After I googled the subject I saw something about Joe Rogan but thought what the heck would he know about it. But since you posted it I will take it as a sign that I should watch. Thanks :-)

Wow I didn't realise that Joe Rogan was that deep. Kind of have a new respect for the man.
