Ok there is one thing that i want to ask...is there any possible harm in astral travelling??
I mean ever since i've got to know about it, and achieved it, i often feel like i want to try it again...because it seems to me amazing and a very big mystery...I want to discover more and more...
So is there a possibility that it becomes addictive?? Can it lead to a feeling of detachment from the real world if practiced too much??
Well, I've been practising for many years, and I don't think it has harmed me, or caused any detachment from physical reality. What it does do is it enriches your life, because you know there is this whole other world you can enter if you want to. I have periods of feast and famine. Feast when I project every morning, and then famine, when I skip maybe for a few weeks, or even months. The famines don't bother me because I know it is simply a state of mind that I have temporarily lost, due to other more pressing physical world matters. If I really want to, I can regain the state of mind required with a few days practice. Getting back into the astral is always a wondrous experience. For me, I don't think there is any harm in it.
Same... only beneficial effects.

Yes, if you have an addicted personality to things, than this could become an addiction as well. I have had times when I did Phase sessions and couldn't sleep at night because my mind didn't know when to stop "noticing", once this went on for an entire week. As with anything else in life, it's good to stay grounded. My better half Mary Jo does that for me, thankfully. :-)
Hi,
I've been wandering the other worlds since 1964 and things don't wind me up unlike many others. You gain patience and a greater understanding of people and their views. Violent tendencies dissapear and communication improves. Also you could develop other senses above those you already possess.
In general, its not that bad. The phasing technique or a version of it helps some with mental problems when a specialist advises this as a course of remedial action.
You don't need to worry about this creating problems unless you have been advised against it by your doctor or equivalent.
Some people get scared of the sensations that occur when separating from the body or during a hypnagogic state. I get a lot of questions about these sensations. I tell them it is normal and recommend they come here and read the FAQ files and forum posts.

My grounding is Kathryn. lol
Yeah... I didn't answer the addiction bit.
I spent a while obsessed with it. Although it gleaned some of the most profound experiences and life altering effects... I did spend my whole time practically a hermit, in my bedroom. Just drawing eating reading and projecting. 5 years of my life. Kathryn was there through the whole of it and she's still with me now... thankfully.
Thanks everyone!! This question had been bothering me for quite a while now. I definitely feel better about it now!!!
I practice to astral project and it has made me different. I feel like I am keeping a secret from people. I am not able to share astral projection with anyone. I have to keep it to myself. I feel a lot happier because I know I can travel to places and see amazing things. The other day I was thinking I feel a bit weird. In the morning I had an astral projection experience. When I woke up I went into the bedroom. My husband said to me, what do you look so happy about? I said, it is good to be happy. If I had my way all over again, I am glad I took up astral projection. My only regret is I wish I started earlier but I did not know that astral projection was real.

We start into this when we are ready to. Everything in life has a purpose. I am glad to see that it has brought such happiness to you! I feel it helps our hearts to grow and minds to expand! :-)
I have to agree with Suzy. Ever since i've started experiencing RTZ projections, even i feel a certain change in myself...It's like a whole new world to me and it definitely helps me feel a lot cheerful than before... :-)
Thank you Lionheart. That is nice of you.
I am glad it makes you happier as well piyal_14.
