Right so many of you are aware of the way you can attempt to validate something when in astral form. These validations more often than not do not amount to much success but I believe still can be done but are just not as easy as most are led to believe.
What about experimenting with time when in the etheral plane? what I mean by this is instead of attempting to validate something such as a preplaced card on top of a cupboard, how about the idea of attempting to see into the future an hour or so from the current earth time? you could look outside before the projection and take note of what cars are outside your home (if you live in an urban area) then project into the etheral. Whilst there you could demand to see what your street will look like in an hours time. Of course the reality is there would be few to no changes but people do drive away or move there cars so that would be a good marker.
Anyone think this is worth a try? anyone tried it? I think it should work in theroy.

Im sure lots beleve it has already been done. There's a few that have done it.
Its not that simple to set into action. Too many things have to be in the right place and no guarantees are made. Its uses are far greater than your suggested one and maybe with the correct intent you could do it yourself.

Maybe you and see what you would be doing in the future. Then when you wake up see if anything like that happens. Maybe your phone will ring or someone in you family will walk into the room and everything you saw really happens, then that would be like a creepy deja vu. Maybe that's what deja vu really is. You have an OOBE and you're not aware of it and you don't remember it and then you get the feeling of deja vu. ;) Very cool. I would like to try this once I figure out how I can control my OOBE better.
The main problem with an experiment of this type is this: Perception.
Perceptually, we'll physically never know how time works in any reality besides this one until we can "physically" venture there and measure it directly.
I agree with Xanth for everyone there is a perception that is to say a way that we see the world through our eyes. Time in my astral or etheral realm is different from yours but while on the physical realm time is the same for everyone of course time is relative but I digress. what I am basically trying to say is that if you want this bad enough it will happen but the time will not be exact in most cases.
