I'll Keep this short. I can induce OBE's whenever i want to but i am starting to feel less difference from "Real Life" to the Astral plane and sometimes i would ask myself if i am really outside of my body or not when it later turns up that i am.
Etheric Projection is different from an ordinary OBE because it's the spiritual body manifesting into physical reality. I considered this may be the case whenever i would question if im outside my body and then i walk out my room to see my family walk about the house and they actually notice me and converse with me. Would i just appear as an apparition to them? I wouldnt tell them im outside my body of course but when they turn there backs i just jump out the window and fly away or walk through a wall when they arent looking.
Is there any theorys or explanations for this? I shouldnt be interacting with "Physical Beings" and family members while i am in the astral plane unless i have achieved Etheric Projection. If it wasnt Etheric Projection then I just did a simple OBE and i am imagining them? Or are there entitys impersonating them?
What are your thoughts?

I'm not big on theories but there maybe two reasons for your interaction with family members OOB.
1) Those family members are also OOB at the same time. Or perhaps they are in a dream state - they could be having an OBE but experiencing it as a dream.
2) Those family members are thought forms created by your own mind. This is exactly what happens in dreams -- the people that we interact with in dreams are creations of our minds. Usually the people that we interact with in OBEs are actual (objective) discarnates yet sometimes we do create thought elementals and 'meet' them while out of body.

Well, I mean, the first question I'd ask... and you didn't even mention this, Killa... your family, did they remember the talks you had with them in that state?
I'd venture to guess no, because I believe that what you experienced was #2 of Grey's list. :)
