How do you keep your mouth from hanging open?

I'm surely not the only one with this problem.  I like to lay back in the recliner when practicing AP, but my mouth wants to hang open.  A relaxed jaw seems to hang open.  If you close you mouth it creates tension in the jaw muscles.  This is not so much a problem when you're sitting up right as it is when you're laying back in a recliner.  But, I feel it will be easier to AP if I'm laying down rather than sitting up.  I've tried stuffing a shirt up under my chin, but it doesn't seem to work very well.

Anybody found a solution for this problem?

First, if you're having a problem... you can be 100% certain that other people are too.  :)  So no worries there.

Secondly, I can't really duplicate it myself... I can relax my jaw and (regardless what my fiance says) I can keep my mouth shut.  LoL
There's a suction effect which happens when you close your lips together.  In my case that seems to be what keeps everything together.  :)

I think I know what you mean by the suction effect.  But, when I do that it still feels like there a little bit of tension.  Either that or my mind is just overly focused on it.  I can feel the pull of gravity on my jaw wanting to pull it back open.  Maybe I need to tie something around my head to hold my jaw shut.

If sticky tape isn't your thing, there's always those travel pillows (usually inflatable) that sit under your chin.
Don't risk being strangled, that may make the trip a one way journey.

Travel pillow - Good idea, that just might work.  I wasn't quite sure what a travel pillow looked like so I did an image search.  I'm guessing you're talking about the U shaped travel pillows.

Yep, they come in all sizes too. I've seen fluffy ones but wouldn't recommend them. The tickle they'd give would drive you crazy lol.
