If nothing else, it is quite special to experience that by loving something we can transform it, make it more substantive and more positive.

As to messages - if they were important you might see other indications in dreams?

IS  astral sight and hypnogogic imagery the same thing?

Tisha

I don't think it's the same thing . . . hypnogogic imagery appears to me like weird shapes and squiggles and colors.  With astral sight, I see recognizable things.  Perhaps they  are related!  Probably.

Anyway, this post contains a very good lesson, so I am responding to it, so as to bring it to the top of the posts so everyone can read it!   http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile_big.gif" border=0>

By loving something, you can transform it.

It works in dreams.
It works in your waking life too.
As above, so below!

Remember, remember, remember . . .

Love to all,

I agree with Tisha.  http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile_wink.gif" border=0>

Astral sight and hypnogogic imagery are two different things.  When I am looking at hypnogogic imagery, I usually see things in my minds eye.  All is black, but images are coming before me and I simply watch them passively.

Astral sight, on the other hand, is something I have experienced many times.  Usually, I find myself laying in bed, looking at the room around me, and then it hits me that my eyes are really closed.  I'm sure at that point, I could probably roll out and have an OBE, but usually, if I'm just laying there using astral sight, that means I am too tired to actually roll out and have an astral experience.

i fell asleep after work today, and i woke up with a strange sensation.  lately, i've been automatically going into astral sight almost every time i go to bed.  i was asleep, and awoke with my eyelids still closed, and i noticed that an image was appearing on my eyelids.  i have heard about these before, and i had my first of them this morning on break at work when i was napping (it was an image of the same building i was staring at when i dozed off).

anyhow, so i woke up, saw that an image was forming.. messed with my foucs for just a split second and BOOM, the whole image appeared instantly.  it was of a man seated on my back porch, but his face was heavily distorted, it looked like he had three eyes, 2 where he should have them and i believe one at his third eye chakra.  my first instinct upon looking at this guy was that he was very important and full of wisdom.  suddenly this image started to scare me and i felt my face contorting that of fear.. and the image started to fade away.. but then i realized that i was acting silly, and began to 'love' the thing i was seeing, and the image slowly came back again.. this time the man appeared different, i think in a better light, then i opened my eyes.

the weird thing was, unlike the image i had seen before on break of a building, this was a moving image.  the man was sitted down and was obviously tryin to communicate with me with his hands.  he was making strange hand motions that i could not recognize.

is there anythin special about this?
