Title: Falling asleep while out of body?!
Post by: Stumpy on November 01, 2008, 01:16:36
Hi,

So far, up till now i had 2 distinct OBES. However, there are another two which I'm not to sure of - they feel just like dreams. The first was when i fell through my bed and the second was when my feet floated out and eventually my body (I'm more sure of the first one). I remember being astral blinded and trying to crawl away, can't really remember much though. I think i fell asleep and got zapped back into my body and the only recollection i had was when i woke up the next day and it felt just like a dream. Does falling asleep while in OBE happen to any of you? And if so how do you work around it?

Another thing, when I'm in the stage of body asleep and mind awake, my feet always feel uncomfortable, like small little pins poking them. Chakra problems? I also have problems getting to 3d astral blackness. It's never black nowadays, more like grey and brown, very swirly too. Can anyone share what hypagonic images look like? Do they look like the stuff that appear when you press your eyeballs?

Thanks,
Hope you all can help

Maybe you just lost consciousness and instantly fell asleep/entered a dream when you involunatrily Phased back to your body and that's why the next day you felt like it was a dream (sorry if I misunderstood).

I think that almost everyone has lost consciousness before during an OBE. Just stay focused and try not to have any strong emotions during the experience or it will end prematurely.

I've experienced the same uncomfortable feeling before, you have to try different positions (which is what I had to do) until you find the one that causes the least discomfort.

Hypnogogic Imagery can be geometrical patterns, colors (like swirls) or vivid images of anything that one may refer to as mini-dreams.
